¹¹ And the angel of the Lord appeared to Zachariah, standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

¹⁹ The angel answered, and said to him: I am Gabriel, who stand before God; and I am sent to converse with thee, and to tell thee these things.

²⁸ And the angel entered the house, and said to her: Peace to thee, thou full of grace! The Lord is with thee: and blessed art thou among women.

¹⁰ And the angel said to them: Fear not; for, behold I announce to you great joy, which will be to all the world.

¹⁹ Then the angel of the Lord, by night, opened the door of the prison, and let them out; and said to them:

³ This man distinctly saw, in a vision, about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of God, who came in to him and said to him: Cornelius! ⁴ And he looked upon him, and was afraid; and he said: What, my Lord? And the angel said to him: Thy prayers and thy alms have come up in remembrance before God.

¹⁴ Are they not all spirits of ministration, who are sent to minister on account of them that are to inherit life?

³ And another angel came and stood by the altar; and he held a golden censer: and much incense was given him, so that he might offer, with the prayers of all the saints, upon the golden altar before the throne. ⁴ And the smoke of the incense of the prayers of the saints went up before God from the hand of the angel.

¹³ And the sixth angel sounded; and I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar which was before God,
