Matthew 22:17-21

17 Tell us, therefore, how doth it appear to thee: is it lawful to pay capitation money to Caesar, or not? 18 But Jesus knew their wickedness, and said: Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? 19 Show me a denarius of the capitation money. And they brought to him a denarius. 20 And Jesus said to them: Whose is this image and inscription? 21 They say, Caesar's. He saith to them: Give then Caesar's things to Caesar, and God's things to God.

Mark 12:14-17

14 And these came, and asked him: Teacher; we know that thou art veracious, and hast no fear of man; for thou regardest not the face of men, but teachest the way of God in truth.
