²⁴ It happened, when they brought those kings out to Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the chiefs of the men of war who went with him, "Come near, put your feet on the necks of these kings." They came near, and put their feet on their necks. ²⁵ Joshua said to them, "Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed. Be strong and of good courage, for the LORD will do this to all your enemies against whom you fight."

⁸ Ask of me, and I will give the nations as your inheritance, and the farthest parts of the earth for your possession. ⁹ You shall rule them with an iron scepter. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel." ¹⁰ Now therefore, you kings, be wise; receive correction, you judges of the earth. ¹¹ Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. ¹² Do homage in purity, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, when his anger is suddenly kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.

⁴⁰ You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me. ⁴¹ They cried, but there was none to save; even to the LORD, but he did not answer them. ⁴² Then I ground them as fine as the dust on the surface of a path. Like the mud in the streets, I trampled them.

⁸ Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find all those who hate you. ⁹ You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. The LORD will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them. ¹⁰ You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from among the descendants of Adam. ¹¹ Though they intend evil against you, devising a wicked scheme, they will not succeed. ¹² For you will make them turn their back, when you aim drawn bows at their face.

⁹ Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. His enemies shall lick the dust.

²³ Kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers: they shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am the LORD; and those who wait for me shall not be disappointed."

¹⁸ According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, wrath to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense.

¹⁴ The sons of those who afflicted you shall come bending to you; and all those who despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

⁴ For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed has come. ⁵ I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore my own arm brought salvation to me; and my wrath, it upheld me. ⁶ I trod down the peoples in my anger, and made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their lifeblood on the earth."

²⁷ But bring those enemies of mine who did not want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.'"

¹⁶ He will come and destroy these farmers, and will give the vineyard to others." When they heard it, they said, "May it never be." ¹⁷ But he looked at them, and said, "Then what is this that is written, 'The stone which the builders rejected, the same was made the chief cornerstone?' ¹⁸ Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will crush him."

²⁰ And the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

¹⁹ I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him who sat on the horse, and against his army.

⁸ and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. ⁹ They went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the beloved city, and fire came down out of heaven and devoured them. ¹⁰ The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever. ¹¹ I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them. ¹² I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. ¹³ The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and hell gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. ¹⁴ Death and hell were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. ¹⁵ If anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
