⁵ The sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of El Shaddai when he speaks.

¹⁶ It happened on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of an exceedingly loud trumpet; and all the people who were in the camp trembled.

¹⁹ When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.

¹⁸ All the people perceived the thunderings, the lightnings, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled, and stayed at a distance. ¹⁹ They said to Moses, "Speak with us yourself, and we will listen; but do not let God speak with us, lest we die."

¹² The LORD spoke to you out of the midst of the fire: you heard the voice of words, but you saw no form; you only heard a voice. ¹³ He declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even the ten commandments; and he wrote them on two tablets of stone.

⁹ All these were of costly stones, even of cut stone, according to measure, sawed with saws, inside and outside, even from the foundation to the coping, and so on the outside to the great court.

⁹ Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid their doors with bronze.

² Hear, oh, hear the noise of his voice, the sound that goes out of his mouth. ³ He sends it forth under the whole sky, and his lightning to the farthest parts of the earth. ⁴ After it a voice roars. He thunders with the voice of his majesty. He doesn't hold back anything when his voice is heard. ⁵ God thunders marvelously with his voice. He does great things, which we can't comprehend.

⁹ Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him?

³ The voice of the LORD is on the waters. The God of glory thunders, even the LORD on many waters. ⁴ The voice of the LORD is powerful. The voice of the LORD is full of majesty. ⁵ The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars. Yes, the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. ⁶ He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young, wild ox. ⁷ The voice of the LORD strikes with flashes of lightning. ⁸ The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness. The LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. ⁹ The voice of the LORD makes the large trees tremble, and strips the forests bare. In his temple everything says, "Glory."

³³ To him who rides on the heaven of heavens, which are of old; look, he utters his voice, a mighty voice.

¹⁷ The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.

²⁴ When they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great waters, like the voice of Shaddai, a noise of tumult like the noise of an army: when they stood, they let down their wings.

²¹ Then he brought me forth into the outer court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and look, in every corner of the court there was a court.

²⁸ Father, glorify your name." Then there came a voice out of the sky, saying, "I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again." ²⁹ The crowd therefore, who stood by and heard it, said that it had thundered. Others said, "An angel has spoken to him."

¹⁸ For you have not come to something that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and darkness, gloom, and storm, ¹⁹ the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which those who heard it begged that not one more word should be spoken to them,

³ He shouted with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he shouted, the seven thunders uttered their voices. ⁴ When the seven thunders sounded, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from the sky saying, "Seal up the things which the seven thunders said, and do not write them."
