¹⁶ And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars.

³ Praise him, sun and moon. Praise him, all you shining stars.

¹⁰ For the stars of the sky and its constellations will not give their light. The sun will be darkened in its going forth, and the moon will not cause its light to shine.
