²⁶ For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.

¹⁴ If he set his heart on himself, If he gathered to himself his spirit and his breath, ¹⁵ all flesh would perish together, and man would turn again to dust.

²⁹ You hide your face: they are troubled; you take away their breath: they die, and return to the dust.

¹⁴ What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith, but has no works? Can faith save him?
