²⁹ and will come out; those who have done good, to the resurrection of life; and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.

² Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. ³ And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.

³¹ "But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory. ³² Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. ³³ He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. ³⁴ Then the King will tell those on his right hand, 'Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; ³⁵ for I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. ³⁶ I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me.' ³⁷ "Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink? ³⁸ When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you? ³⁹ When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you?' ⁴⁰ "The King will answer them, 'Truly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.' ⁴¹ Then he will say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels; ⁴² for I was hungry, and you did not give me food to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink; ⁴³ I was a stranger, and you did not take me in; naked, and you did not clothe me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit me.' ⁴⁴ "Then they will also answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not help you?' ⁴⁵ "Then he will answer them, saying, 'Truly I tell you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.' ⁴⁶ These will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into everlasting life."

¹⁴ and you will be blessed, because they do not have the resources to repay you. For you will be repaid in the resurrection of the righteous."

¹⁵ having hope toward God, which these also themselves look for, that there will be a resurrection, both of the just and unjust.

⁶ who "will pay back to everyone according to their works:" ⁷ to those who by perseverance in good works seek glory and honor and immortality -- everlasting life. ⁸ But to those who are self-seeking, and do not obey the truth, but obey wickedness -- wrath and anger, ⁹ affliction and distress, on every human being who does evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. ¹⁰ But glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

⁸ For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap everlasting life. ⁹ Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up. ¹⁰ So then, as we have opportunity, let us do what is good toward all people, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

¹⁸ that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

¹⁶ But do not forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

¹¹ Let him turn away from evil, and do good. Let him seek peace, and pursue it.
