⁷ Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.

¹ God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,

⁴ "'No man of the descendants of Aaron is a leper or has an issue, may eat of the holy things, until he is clean. Whoever touches anything that is unclean by the dead, a man who has had a seminal emission;

² "Command the children of Israel that they put out of the camp every leper, and everyone who has an issue, and whoever is unclean by the dead.

⁷ For what great nation is there, that has a god so near to them, as the LORD our God is whenever we call on him? ⁸ What great nation is there, that has statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law, which I set before you this day?

²⁹ May it whirl over the head of Joab, and on all his father's house. Let there not fail from the house of Joab one who has an issue, or who is a leper, or who leans on a staff, or who falls by the sword, or who lacks bread."

¹³ "You came down also on Mount Sinai, and spoke with them from heaven, and gave them right ordinances and true laws, good statutes and commandments, ¹⁴ and made known to them your holy Sabbath, and commanded them commandments, and statutes, and a law, by Moses your servant,

⁵ For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a teaching in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children;

¹⁹ He shows his word to Jacob; his statutes and his ordinances to Israel. ²⁰ He has not done this for just any nation. They do not know his ordinances. Praise the LORD.

²⁰ And look, a woman who had an issue of blood for twelve years came behind him, and touched the fringe of his garment;

²⁵ Now a woman, who had an issue of blood for twelve years,

²⁰ He said, "That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man. ²¹ For from within, out of a person's heart, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts, ²² covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness. ²³ All these evil things come from within, and defile the man."

⁴³ A woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years (who had spent all her living on physicians) and could not be healed by any,

²⁶ You have also committed sexual immorality with the Egyptians, your neighbors, great of flesh; and have multiplied your prostitution, to provoke me to anger.

²⁰ She doted on their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of donkeys, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

³³ Do not be deceived. "Bad company corrupts good morals."

¹¹ Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

¹⁵ To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.

²⁵ Whoever carries any part of their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.

²⁸ He who carries their carcass shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening. They are unclean to you.

³² On whatever any of them falls when they are dead, it shall be unclean; whether it is any vessel of wood, or clothing, or skin, or sack, whatever vessel it is, with which any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the evening; then it will be clean.

⁶ The priest shall examine him again on the seventh day; and look, if the plague has faded, and the plague hasn't spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. It is a scab. He shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

³⁴ On the seventh day, the priest shall examine the itch; and look, if the itch hasn't spread in the skin, and its appearance isn't deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean. He shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

⁸ "He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days. ⁹ It shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off. He shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his body in water, then he shall be clean.

²⁷ and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD.

⁴⁶ "Moreover he who goes into the house while it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening. ⁴⁷ He who lies down in the house shall wash his clothes; and he who eats in the house shall wash his clothes.

²⁸ He who burns them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

⁷ Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean. Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.

¹⁶ Wash yourselves, make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil.

¹⁴ The LORD of hosts revealed himself in my ears, "Surely this iniquity will not be forgiven you until you die," says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

²⁵ I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

²⁹ I will save you from all your uncleanness: and I will call for the grain, and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you.

¹⁴ how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

²⁶ or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

²² let us draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having our body washed with pure water,

⁸ Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

¹⁴ So I said to him, "My lord, you know." He said to me, "These are the ones who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb's blood.

⁸ But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should proclaim to you a "good news" other than that which we preached to you, let him be cursed. ⁹ As we have said before, so I now say again: if anyone preaches to you a "good news" other than that which you received, let him be cursed.

¹ But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, ² through the hypocrisy of liars, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron; ³ forbidding marriage and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

⁹ holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict those who contradict him. ¹⁰ For there are many rebellious people, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,

¹ But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction. ² Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned. ³ In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old does not linger, and their destruction is not asleep.

⁴ For there are certain people who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly people, turning the grace of our God into sensuality, and denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

³⁴ Now Rachel had taken the idols, put them in the camelʼs saddle, and sat on them. Laban searched the whole tent, but did not find them.

⁹ You shall rule them with an iron scepter. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."

²¹ She calls at the head of noisy places. At the entrance of the city gates, she utters her words:

²³ Turn at my reproof. Look, I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make known my words to you.

²¹ My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion:

¹ For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, everlasting, in the heavens.

²¹ who will transform our lowly body into the likeness of his glorious body, according to the power by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.

³⁵ "You shall do so to Aaron, and to his sons, according to all that I have commanded you. You shall consecrate them seven days.

³⁷ Seven days you shall make atonement for the altar, and sanctify it: and the altar shall be most holy; whatever touches the altar shall be holy.

³³ You shall not go out from the door of the Tent of Meeting seven days, until the days of your consecration are fulfilled: for he shall consecrate you seven days.

¹ It happened on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

⁸ "He who is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water; and he shall be clean. After that he shall come into the camp, but shall dwell outside his tent seven days.

¹⁰ "On the eighth day he shall take two male lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb a year old without blemish, and three tenths of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

¹⁴ The LORD said to Moses, "If her father had but spit in her face, shouldn't she be ashamed seven days? Let her be shut up outside of the camp seven days, and after that she shall be brought in again."

¹¹ "He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days: ¹² the same shall purify himself with water on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he doesn't purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

⁸ I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, by which they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, by which they have sinned against me, and by which they have transgressed against me.

²⁵ I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. ²⁶ And I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. ²⁷ I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them. ²⁸ You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God. ²⁹ I will save you from all your uncleanness: and I will call for the grain, and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you.

¹ Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and freed us from our sins by his blood;

¹⁴ "'If his offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall offer his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.

⁶ "'When the days of her purification are completed, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the door of the Tent of Meeting, a year old lamb for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering:

⁸ If she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons; the one for a burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.'"

²² and two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to afford; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering. ²³ "On the eighth day he shall bring them for his cleansing to the priest, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, before the LORD. ²⁴ The priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD. ²⁵ He shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering. The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering and put it on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot. ²⁶ The priest shall pour some of the oil into the palm of his own left hand; ²⁷ and the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD. ²⁸ Then the priest shall put some of the oil that is in his hand on the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on the place of the blood of the trespass offering. ²⁹ The rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before the LORD. ³⁰ He shall offer one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he is able to afford, ³¹ the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meal offering. The priest shall make atonement for him who is to be cleansed before the LORD."

²¹ For him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

²⁶ For such a high priest was indeed fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

¹⁰ by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹² but this one, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;

¹⁴ For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

²⁰ Thus shall he do with the bull; as he did with the bull of the sin offering, so shall he do with this; and the priest shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven.

²⁶ All its fat he shall burn on the altar, like the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin, and he will be forgiven.

³¹ All its fat he shall take away, like the fat is taken away from off of the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it on the altar for a pleasant aroma to the LORD; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.

³⁵ All its fat he shall take away, like the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them on the altar, on the offerings of the LORD made by fire; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned, and he will be forgiven.

⁷ "'If he can't afford a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass offering for that in which he has sinned, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. ⁸ He shall bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one which is for the sin offering, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not sever it completely. ⁹ He shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering. ¹⁰ He shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he has sinned, and he shall be forgiven.

⁷ and he shall offer it before the LORD, and make atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the fountain of her blood. "'This is the law for her who bears, whether a male or a female.

¹⁸ The rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed, and the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD. ¹⁹ "The priest shall offer the sin offering, and make atonement for him who is to be cleansed because of his uncleanness: and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering; ²⁰ and the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meal offering on the altar. The priest shall make atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

²⁵ The priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and they shall be forgiven; for it was an error, and they have brought their offering, an offering made by fire to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their error:

¹³ and it shall be to him, and to his descendants after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was jealous for his God, and made atonement for the children of Israel.'"

¹⁷ And look, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."

⁶ to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved One,

³ He is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had made purification for sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

¹⁰ If there is among you any man who is not clean by reason of that which happens him by night, then shall he go outside of the camp. He shall not come within the camp: ¹¹ but it shall be, when evening comes on, he shall bathe himself in water; and when the sun is down, he shall come within the camp.

¹¹ Beloved, I urge you as foreigners and temporary residents, to abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

⁷ But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.

¹⁵ He said to the people, "Be ready by the third day. Do not have sexual relations with a woman."

⁴ And the priest answered David, and said, "There is no common bread in my control, but there is holy bread. If the young men have kept themselves from women, they may eat of it." ⁵ And David answered the priest, and said to him, "Truly women have been kept from us as always when I set out. All the young men are holy, even when it is an ordinary mission. So how much more today will their vessels be holy?"

⁵ Look, I was brought forth in iniquity. In sin my mother conceived me.

¹² "All things are lawful for me," but not all things are expedient. "All things are lawful for me," but I will not be brought under the power of anything.

¹⁸ Flee sexual immorality. "Every sin that a person does is outside the body," but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

¹⁷ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the nations also walk, in the futility of their mind, ¹⁸ being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts; ¹⁹ who having become callous gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.

³ But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints; ⁴ nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not appropriate; but rather giving of thanks. ⁵ Know this for sure, that no sexually immoral or impure or greedy person, that is, an idolater, has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and God. ⁶ Let no one deceive you with empty words. For because of these things, the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. ⁷ Therefore do not be partakers with them. ⁸ For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, ⁹ for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, ¹⁰ proving what is well pleasing to the Lord. ¹¹ Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.

³ For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, ⁴ that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, ⁵ not in the passion of lust, even as the nations who do not know God;

²² Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

⁴ Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

² "Speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean.

⁴ She shall continue in the blood of purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any holy thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying are completed.

¹⁸ "'If a man lies with a woman having her monthly period, and uncovers her nakedness; he has made naked her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

⁸ Jerusalem has grievously sinned; therefore she has become as an unclean thing; all who honored her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness: yes, she groans, and turns away. ⁹ Her filthiness was in her skirts; she did not remember her latter end; therefore her fall was astonishing; she has no comforter. "Look, LORD, on my affliction, for the enemy has magnified himself."

¹⁷ Zion spreads forth her hands; there is none to comfort her. The LORD has commanded concerning Jacob, that those who are around him should be his adversaries. Jerusalem is among them as an unclean thing.

¹⁷ "Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.

¹⁹ For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.

⁴ "'Every bed whereon he who has the discharge lies shall be unclean; and everything he sits on shall be unclean. ⁵ Whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. ⁶ He who sits on anything whereon the man who has the discharge sat shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. ⁷ "'He who touches the body of him who has the discharge shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. ⁸ "'If he who has the discharge spits on him who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. ⁹ "'Whatever saddle he who has the discharge rides on shall be unclean.

¹⁶ To deliver you from the strange woman, even from the foreigner who flatters with her words; ¹⁷ who forsakes the friend of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God: ¹⁸ for her house leads down to death, her paths to the dead. ¹⁹ None who go to her return again, neither do they attain to the paths of life:

³ For the lips of an adulteress drip honey. Her mouth is smoother than oil, ⁴ But in the end she is as bitter as wormwood, and as sharp as a two-edged sword. ⁵ Her feet go down to death. Her steps lead straight to Sheol. ⁶ She gives no thought to the way of life. Her ways are crooked, and she doesn't know it. ⁷ Now therefore, son, listen to me. Do not depart from the words of my mouth. ⁸ Remove your way far from her. Do not come near the door of her house, ⁹ lest you give your honor to others, and your years to the merciless; ¹⁰ lest strangers feast on your wealth, and your labors enrich another man's house. ¹¹ You will groan at your latter end, when your flesh and your body are consumed, ¹² and say, "How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof; ¹³ neither have I obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor turned my ear to those who instructed me.

²⁴ to keep you from the immoral woman, from the flattery of the foreign woman.

³⁵ He won't regard any ransom, neither will he rest content, though you give many gifts.

¹⁰ Look, there a woman met him with the attire of a prostitute, and with crafty intent. ¹¹ She is loud and defiant. Her feet do not stay in her house. ¹² Now she is in the streets, now in the squares, and lurking at every corner. ¹³ So she caught him, and kissed him. With an impudent face she said to him: ¹⁴ "Sacrifices of peace offerings are with me. This day I have paid my vows. ¹⁵ Therefore I came out to meet you, to diligently seek your face, and I have found you. ¹⁶ I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, with striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt. ¹⁷ I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. ¹⁸ Come, let's take our fill of loving until the morning. Let's solace ourselves with loving. ¹⁹ For my husband isn't at home. He has gone on a long journey. ²⁰ He has taken a bag of money with him. He will come home at the full moon." ²¹ With persuasive words, she led him astray. With the flattering of her lips, she seduced him. ²² He followed her immediately, as an ox goes to the slaughter, as a stag leaping into a trap, ²³ till an arrow strikes through his liver, as a bird hurries to the snare, and doesn't know that it will cost his life. ²⁴ Now therefore, son, listen to me. Pay attention to the words of my mouth. ²⁵ Do not let your heart turn to her ways. Do not go astray in her paths, ²⁶ for she has thrown down many wounded. Yes, all her slain are a mighty army. ²⁷ Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the chambers of death.

¹³ The foolish woman is loud, Undisciplined, and knows nothing. ¹⁴ She sits at the door of her house, on a seat in the high places of the city, ¹⁵ To call to those who pass by, who go straight on their ways, ¹⁶ "Whoever is simple, let him turn in here." as for him who is void of understanding, she says to him, ¹⁷ "Stolen water is sweet. Food eaten in secret is pleasant." ¹⁸ But he doesn't know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.

²⁷ If you do not have means to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you?

²⁶ I find more bitter than death the woman whose heart is snares and traps, whose hands are chains. Whoever pleases God shall escape from her; but the sinner will be ensnared by her.

³³ and of her who has her period, and of a man or woman who has a discharge, and of him who lies with her who is unclean.

¹⁹ "'You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.

⁶ and has not eaten on the mountains, neither has lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither has defiled his neighbor's wife, neither has come near to a woman in her impurity,

¹⁰ In you have they uncovered their fathers' nakedness; in you have they humbled her who was unclean in her impurity.

²² Abstain from every form of evil.

¹⁹ "'If a woman has a discharge, and her discharge in her flesh is blood, she shall be in her impurity seven days: and whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening. ²⁰ "'Everything that she lies on in her impurity shall be unclean. Everything also that she sits on shall be unclean. ²¹ Whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. ²² Whoever touches anything that she sits on shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. ²³ If it is on the bed, or on anything whereon she sits, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until the evening. ²⁴ "'If any man lies with her, and her monthly flow is on him, he shall be unclean seven days; and every bed whereon he lies shall be unclean.

⁵ Whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. ⁶ He who sits on anything whereon the man who has the discharge sat shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. ⁷ "'He who touches the body of him who has the discharge shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. ⁸ "'If he who has the discharge spits on him who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

¹³ "'When he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes; and he shall bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.

²¹ Whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.

¹⁵ "'Every person that eats what dies of itself, or that which is torn by animals, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening: then he shall be clean. ¹⁶ But if he doesn't wash them, or bathe his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.'"

¹ "In that day there will be a spring opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

¹⁸ knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers, ¹⁹ but with precious blood, as of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ;

¹³ "'When he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes; and he shall bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean. ¹⁴ "'On the eighth day he shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the priest: ¹⁵ and the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. The priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD for his discharge.

²¹ And she will bring forth a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."

³⁰ And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption,

¹¹ Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.

¹³ Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"

⁴ But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law,

⁶ to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved One, ⁷ in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

⁴⁷ to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.'"

⁵⁹ This is the law of the plague of mildew in a garment of wool or linen, either in the warp, or the woof, or in anything of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.

³⁰ "'You shall keep my Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary; I am the LORD.

³ I also will set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people because he has given of his offspring to Moloch, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

²³ He shall not come near to the veil, nor come near to the altar, because he has a blemish; that he may not profane my sanctuaries, for I am the LORD who sanctifies them.'"

³ Both you shall put male and female outside of the camp; that they not defile their camp, in the midst of which I dwell."

¹³ Whoever touches a dead person, the body of a man who has died, and doesn't purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet on him.

²⁰ But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him; he is unclean.

⁸ Be careful in a case of leprous disease, that you observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so you shall observe to do.

¹⁸ If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn't have listened.

¹¹ "'Therefore as I live,' says the Lord GOD, 'surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you; neither shall my eye spare, and I also will have no pity.

³⁸ Moreover this they have done to me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my Sabbaths.

⁵ The LORD said to me, "Son of man, mark well, and see with your eyes, and hear with your ears all that I tell you concerning all the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all its laws; and mark well the entrance of the house, with every exit of the sanctuary. ⁶ You shall tell the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: you house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations, ⁷ in that you have brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to profane it, even my house, when you offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and you have broken my covenant, to add to all your abominations.

²³ They shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

²⁷ He shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who destroys, and even until a complete destruction, until the decreed end is poured out on the one who destroys."

¹⁷ If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for God's temple is holy, which you are.

²⁹ How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

¹⁴ Pursue peace with everyone, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord, ¹⁵ looking carefully lest there be anyone who falls short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by it many become defiled;

⁴⁶ "'This is the law of the animal, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that crawls on the earth,

² "This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing. He shall be brought to the priest,

³² This is the law for him in whom is the plague of leprosy, who is not able to afford the sacrifice for his cleansing.

⁵⁴ This is the law for any plague of leprosy, and for an itch,

²⁹ "This is the law of jealousy, when a wife, being under her husband, goes astray, and is defiled;

¹³ "This is the law of the Nazirite: when the days of his separation are fulfilled, he shall be brought to the door of the Tent of Meeting,

¹⁴ "This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

¹² "This is the law of the house: on the top of the mountain the whole limit around it shall be most holy. Look, this is the law of the house.

¹⁹ "'If a woman has a discharge, and her discharge in her flesh is blood, she shall be in her impurity seven days: and whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening.

²⁴ "'If any man lies with her, and her monthly flow is on him, he shall be unclean seven days; and every bed whereon he lies shall be unclean. ²⁵ "'If a woman has a discharge of her blood many days not in the time of her period, or if she has a discharge beyond the time of her period; all the days of the discharge of her uncleanness shall be as in the days of her period: she is unclean.
