I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill. 18 For truly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or part of a letter will disappear from the Law, until all things are accomplished. 19 Therefore, whoever will break one of these least commandments, and teach others to do so, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever will do and teach them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, there is no way you will enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 19:16-22

16 And look, someone came to him and said, "Teacher, what good thing must I do, that I may have everlasting life?" 17 He said to him, "Why do you ask me about what is good? No one is good but one. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments." 18 He said to him, "Which ones?" And Jesus said, "'Do not murder.' 'Do not commit adultery.' 'Do not steal.' 'Do not offer false testimony.' 19 'Honor your father and mother.' And, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" 20 The young man said to him, "All these things I have kept. What do I still lack?" 21 Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me." 22 But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.

Matthew 22:36-40

36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?" 37 He said to him, "'You are to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 A second likewise is this, 'You are to love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 The whole Law and the Prophets depend on these two commandments."

Mark 12:28-34

28 And one of the scribes came, and heard them questioning together. Seeing that he had answered them well, asked him, "Which commandment is the greatest of all?" 29 Jesus answered, "The first is, 'Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you are to love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' 31 The second is this, 'You are to love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." 32 The scribe said to him, "Truly, Teacher, you have said well that he is one, and there is none other but he, 33 and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices." 34 When Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the Kingdom of God." No one dared ask him any question after that.

Luke 10:25-28

25 And look, a certain Law scholar stood up and tested him, saying, "Teacher, what must I do to inherit everlasting life?" 26 He said to him, "What is written in the Law? How do you read it?" 27 He answered, "You are to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." 28 He said to him, "You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live."

Luke 16:29-31

29 "But Abraham said to him, 'They have Moses and the Prophets. Let them listen to them.' 30 "He said, 'No, father Abraham, but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.' 31 "He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded if one rises from the dead.'"

John 5:39-47

39 You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have everlasting life; and these are they which testify about me. 40 But you are unwilling to come to me so that you may have life. 41 I do not receive glory from people. 42 But I know you, that you do not have God's love in yourselves. 43 I have come in my Father's name, and you do not receive me. If another comes in his own name, you will receive him. 44 How can you believe, who receive glory from one another, and you do not seek the glory that comes from the only God? 45 "Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you, even Moses, on whom you have set your hope. 46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote about me. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?"

Romans 3:31

31 Do we then nullify the law through faith? Absolutely not. No, we establish the law.

Romans 13:1-10

1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. 3 For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the same, 4 for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil. 5 Therefore you need to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath, but also for conscience' sake. 6 For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God's service, attending continually on this very thing. 7 Give therefore to everyone what you owe: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor. 8 Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not give false testimony," "Do not covet," and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You are to love your neighbor as yourself." 10 Love does not harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.

Galatians 5:13-14

13 For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only do not use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another. 14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You are to love your neighbor as yourself."

Galatians 5:24-25

24 Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. 25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

James 2:9-13

9 But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors. 10 For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all. 11 For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not commit murder." Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak, and so do, as those who are to be judged by a law of freedom. 13 For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Isaiah 40:3

3 The voice of one who calls out in the wilderness, "Prepare the way of the LORD. Make his roads straight.

Malachi 3:1

Malachi 4:1

Matthew 11:13-14

13 For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John. 14 And if you are willing to receive it, this is Elijah, who is to come.

Matthew 17:10-13

10 The disciples asked him, saying, "Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?" 11 And he answered and said, "Elijah indeed comes, and will restore all things, 12 but I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted to. Even so the Son of Man will also suffer by them." 13 Then the disciples understood that he spoke to them of John the Baptist.

Matthew 27:47-49

47 Some of them who stood there, when they heard it, said, "This man is calling Elijah." 48 Immediately one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him a drink. 49 The rest said, "Let him be. Let us see whether Elijah comes to save him."

Mark 9:11-13

11 They asked him, saying, "Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?" 12 And he said to them, "Elijah indeed comes first, and restores all things. And why is it written of the Son of Man that he should suffer many things and be rejected? 13 But I tell you that Elijah has come, and they have also done to him whatever they wanted to, even as it is written about him."

Luke 1:17

17 He will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, 'to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,' and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

Luke 7:26-28

26 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and much more than a prophet. 27 This is he of whom it is written, 'Look, I send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.' 28 "I tell you, among those who are born of women there is none greater than John, yet he who is least in the Kingdom of God is greater than he."

Luke 9:30

30 And look, two men were talking with him, who were Moses and Elijah,

John 1:21

21 And they asked him, "What then? Are you Elijah?" And he said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" And he answered, "No."

25 And they asked him, "Why then do you baptize, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?"

Acts 2:19-20

Revelation 6:17

17 for the great day of their wrath has come; and who is able to stand?"

Deuteronomy 29:19-29

19 and it happen, when he hears the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, "I shall have peace, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart, to destroy the moist with the dry." 20 God will not be willing to forgive him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy will burn against that man, and every curse that is written in this book shall rest on him, and the LORD will blot out his name from under heaven. 21 The LORD will set him apart to evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that is written in this book of the law. 22 The generation to come, your children who shall rise up after you, and the foreigner who shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses with which the LORD has made it sick; 23 and that the whole land of it is sulfur, salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor bears, nor any grass grows in it, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath: 24 even all the nations shall say, "Why has the LORD done thus to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?" 25 Then men shall say, "Because they forsook the covenant of the LORD, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, 26 and went and served other gods, and worshiped them, gods that they did not know, and that he had not given to them: 27 therefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring on it all the curse that is written in this book; 28 and the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as at this day." 29 The secret things belong to the LORD our God; but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Isaiah 11:4

4 but with righteousness he will judge the poor, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.

Isaiah 24:6

6 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are found guilty. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Daniel 9:11

11 Yes, all Israel has transgressed your law, and turned away, refusing to obey your voice. Therefore has the curse been poured out on us, and the oath that is written in the Law of Moses the servant of God, for we have sinned against you.

Daniel 9:26-27

26 After the sixty-two weeks the Messiah shall be cut off, and shall have nothing. And the people of a ruler who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and his end shall come with a flood, and until the end there shall be war; desolations are decreed. 27 He shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who destroys, and even until a complete destruction, until the decreed end is poured out on the one who destroys."

Zechariah 5:3

3 Then he said to me, "This is the curse that goes out over the surface of the whole land; for everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it on the one side; and everyone who swears falsely shall be cut off according to it on the other side.

Zechariah 11:6

Zechariah 14:2

35 that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berechiah, whom you killed between the sanctuary and the altar. 36 Truly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation. 37 "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her. How often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not. 38 Look, your house is abandoned to you.

Matthew 24:27-30

27 For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever the carcass is, there is where the vultures gather together. 29 But immediately after the oppression of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken; 30 and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

Mark 11:21

21 Peter, remembering, said to him, "Teacher, look. The fig tree which you cursed has withered away."

Mark 13:14-26

14 But when you see the abomination of desolation, standing where it ought not (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, 15 and let him who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house. 16 Let him who is in the field not return back to take his coat. 17 But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babies in those days. 18 And pray that it won't be in the winter. 19 For in those days there will be oppression, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be. 20 Unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the sake of the chosen ones, whom he picked out, he shortened the days. 21 Then if anyone tells you, 'Look, here is the Christ.' or, 'Look, there.' do not believe it. 22 For there will arise false messiahs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, the chosen ones. 23 But you watch. "I have told you all things beforehand. 24 But in those days, after that oppression, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, 25 the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. 26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

Luke 19:41-44

41 When he drew near, he saw the city and wept over it, 42 saying, "If you, even you, had known today the things that make for peace. But now, they are hidden from your eyes. 43 For the days will come on you, when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side, 44 and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you did not know the time of your visitation."

Luke 21:22-27

22 For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who nurse infants in those days. For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by non-Jewish people until the times are fulfilled. And there will be times of the non-Jewish people. 25 And there will be signs in the sun, and moon, and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves; 26 people will be fainting from fear, and from expectation of the things which are coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Hebrews 6:8

8 but if it bears thorns and thistles, it is rejected and near being cursed, whose end is to be burned.

Hebrews 10:26-31

26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who disregards the Law of Moses dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses. 29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay." Again, "The Lord will judge his people." 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

20 He who testifies these things says, "Yes, I come quickly." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.
