³¹ but if he is found, he must repay seven times. He shall give all the wealth of his house.

These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all the day. ⁶ "Look, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, yes, I will recompense into their bosom, ⁷ your own iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together," says the LORD, "who have burned incense on the mountains, and blasphemed me on the hills; therefore I will first measure their work into their bosom."

¹⁸ who show loving kindness to thousands, and recompense the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them; the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts is his name;

³⁸ "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you."
