¹⁴ »He was given legal power and a kingdom. Out of his glory all the peoples, nations, and languages will serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away. His kingdom will not be destroyed. (Revelation 11:15) (Daniel 2:44) (Psalm 45:6)

⁶ »I have installed (anointed) (established) my king on Zion, my holy mountain.« ⁷ I will proclaim the decree of Jehovah: He said to me: »You are my Son. Today I have become your Father. (I have begotten you.) ⁸ »Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.

⁶ You made him rule what your hands created. You have put everything under his control:

⁶ God is your throne forever and ever. A scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.

¹¹ Yes, all kings will bow down before him. All nations will serve him.

¹⁷ His name will endure forever. His name will continue as long as the sun shines. May all nations be blessed through him and call him blessed.

²² When the peoples and kingdoms are gathered together to serve Jehovah.

¹ ([Psalm of David]) Jehovah said to my Lord: »Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.« ² Jehovah will extend your powerful scepter from Zion. He will say: »Rule in the midst of your enemies.«

¹³ Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion throughout all generations.

¹⁰ Jehovah will be king forever, Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Jehovah!

⁷ Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom. He will establish and uphold it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of Jehovah of Hosts will accomplish this.

¹² »Nations and kingdoms that do not serve you will be destroyed. The nations will definitely be ruined.

³⁵ »The iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broke in pieces together. It became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors. The wind carried them away and no place was found for them. The stone that struck the statue became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

⁴⁴ »In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. Its sovereignty will not be entrusted to another people. It will break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms and it will stand forever!

⁴ Then the herald proclaimed: »You are commanded to do this, O peoples, nations, and men of every language.

³ »How great are his signs! How mighty are his wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.

¹¹ They were close to Jerusalem. They assumed that the kingdom of God was to appear immediately. Jesus responded to their assumption with an illustration. ¹² He said: »A nobleman traveled to a country far away to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

³⁵ »The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.

²² »The Father does not judge any man for he has given all judgment to the Son. ²³ »All may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father that sent him. ²⁴ »Truly, Truly I say to you, he who hears my word, and believes him that sent me, has everlasting life. ³⁴ The crowd answered him: »We have heard from the law that the Christ lives forever. Why do you say the Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?«

²⁴ In the end Christ will deliver the kingdom to God the Father. Christ will destroy every ruler and all authority and all power. ²⁵ For he (Christ) must rule as king until he (God) puts all enemies under his feet (his control). (Psalm 2; 110) (Daniel 2:44) (Revelation 5:10; 20:6) ²⁶ The last enemy to be destroyed will be death. (Revelation 20:14) ²⁷ According to the Scriptures: God has placed all things under his control (subjection). (Ephesians 1:22) But when he said all things are placed under him, it is with the exception of [God]. For [God] is the one who placed all things under him (Christ). (1 Peter 3:22) (John 3:35) ²⁸ When all things shall be subdued under the Son, then the Son will also be subjected to God who put all things under him, that God may be all in all (ruler over everything).

²⁰ He operated in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places. ²¹ It is far above all governments and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. ²² He (God) put all things in subjection under his feet, and made him head over all things to the congregation,

⁹ For this reason God highly exalted him, and gave to him the name that is above every name, (Relative authority given by Jehovah God, the Father to His Son) (Philipians 2:11) ¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth and things under the earth, ¹¹ and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

²⁸ Let us be thankful, because we will receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Let us be grateful and worship (serve) (intensely adore) God in a way that will please him, with reverence and awe.

²² He is in heaven at the right hand of God, ruling over all angels and heavenly authorities and powers.

²¹ »'To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me on my throne, even as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.

¹⁵ The seventh angel blew his trumpet. There were great voices in heaven, saying: »The kingdom of the world has become our God’s, and his Christ will rule as king forever and ever.«

¹⁴ »They will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome (conquer) them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings. Those who are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.«
