⁶ God said: Light will shine out of darkness. He shined in our hearts. He gave the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face (presence) ((person) of Jesus Christ.

⁷ In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.

⁹ I do not need to write you about brotherly love. For God taught you to love one another.

¹² At this time you should be teachers. But you need someone to teach you again from the beginning the elementary truths from the Word of God. You need milk, not solid food.

²⁰ You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.

²⁷ The anointing (special endowment of Holy Spirit) you received from Him is a part of you (is with you) and you do not need anyone (any human) to teach you. His anointing taught you concerning all things. It is no lie. It is truth, just as you were taught you live through him.

²⁰ We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding. We know him that is true for we are in him who is true, [and] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and everlasting life.
