³⁷ Jesus replied: »You both see and hear him for he speaks with you.«

⁸ Jehovah is good and decent. That is why he teaches sinners the way they should live. ⁹ He leads humble people to do what is right, and he teaches them his way.

¹⁴ Jehovah is intimate with those who respect him. He reveals the intent of his covenant to them.
