1 It was early in the morning on the first day of the week. They went to the tomb with the spices that they had prepared.
2 The stone was rolled away from the tomb.
3 When they entered they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 They were perplexed about what had happened. Two men stood by them in dazzling apparel.
John 20:1-2
1 Mary Magdalene arrived at the tomb early on the first day of the week while it was still dark. She saw the stone was taken away from the tomb.
2 She ran to Simon Peter and the other disciple whom Jesus loved and said to them: »They have taken the Lord away out of the tomb. We do not know where they laid him.«
