⁴ Peter told Jesus: »Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, let us make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.«

¹⁸ Then Moses said: Please show me your glory!« ¹⁹ Jehovah said: »I will make all my goodness pass in front of you. I will call out my name, JEHOVAH. I will be kind to anyone I want to. I will be merciful to anyone I want to.«

⁶ Many are saying: »Who will show us good?« Lift up the light of your countenance (face) (presence) upon us, O Jehovah!

¹¹ You make the path of life known to me. Complete joy is in your presence. It is pleasant to be at your right hand forever.

¹ ([[Psalm of David] in the wilderness of Judah:]) O God, you are my God. At dawn I search for you. I thirst for you. ⁵ Peter said to Jesus: »Teacher it is good for us to be here. Let us make three tabernacles, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.« ⁶ Peter and the others were afraid and they did not know what to say.

³³ Before they left Peter said to Jesus: »Master it is good for us to be here. Let us make three tabernacles. We could make one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.« He did not know what he was saying.

⁸ Philip said: »Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.« ⁹ Jesus responded: »Have I been with you so long a time and you do not know me Philip? He who has seen me has discerned (experienced) (perceived) the Father. And you say, show us the Father?

²⁴ »Father, I desire that these whom you gave me may be with me where I am. I want them to see the glory you have given me. For you loved me before the creation of the world.

²³ I am hard pressed between the two. I have the desire to depart and be with Christ for it is far better.

² Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be. We know that when he is revealed we will be like him. We will see him just as he is.

²³ The city did not need the sun or the moon to shine on it. For the glory of God and of the Lamb was its light.

³ There will be no curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city. His servants will serve him. ⁴ They will see his face and his name will be in their foreheads. ⁵ There will be no night there. They need no lamp, neither light of the sun, for Jehovah God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
