1 Corinthians 3:6-9

6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God caused the growth. 7 Neither he that plants and neither he that waters is anything; but God gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one [in purpose] and every man will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are fellow workers together with God. You are God's field under cultivation. You are God's building.

Ephesians 1:3

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places through Christ.

James 1:17

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. It comes down from the Father of lights (truth and spiritual purity), with whom there is no variation. He does not change like shifting shadows.

Galatians 2:20

20 I have been impaled with Christ. It is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me. The life that I now live in the flesh (physical body) I live by faith. This is the faith that is in the Son of God. He loved me and gave himself up for me.

Ephesians 5:1-2

Philippians 2:5-8

5 Have this attitude (mind-set) (understanding) (mental state) in you that was also in Christ Jesus. 6 He existed in the form (shape and nature) of God but did not try to be equal with God. He was made in the likeness of men. 8 He obtained the appearance as a man, humbled himself, and became obedient even to death, yes, death on the stake.

Hebrews 12:1-2

1 A great cloud of witnesses surround us. Therefore let us lay aside every weight, and the sin that easily entangles us. Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. 2 Look to (consider without distractions) Jesus, the Leader (Predecessor) and Finisher (Perfecter) of our faith. He despised the shame. He endured the stake for the joy that was set before him. Then he sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

1 Peter 2:18-24

18 Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle master but also to the hard to please. 19 For this is to your credit to suffer wrongfully and endure grief because of your conscience toward God. 20 What value is there when you sin, and are buffeted for it, you take it patiently? But if, when you do well and suffer for it, you take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. 21 For this you were called because Christ also suffered for you. He left you an example (a copy for imitation) (a model) that you should follow in his steps. 22 He committed no sin and deception was not found in him. 23 When he was reviled (insulted), he did not revile in return. When he suffered he did not threaten, but committed himself to him that judges righteously. 24 He bore our sins in his body upon the stake, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed because of his wounds (stripes).

1 Peter 4:1

1 Since Christ suffered physically for us, you too must strengthen yourselves with the same way of thinking that he had. Whoever suffers physically has ceased from sin.

1 John 2:6
