⁴ When the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven say to me: »Seal up those things that the seven thunders spoke. Do not write them.«

²⁹ »Some secret things are hidden. They belong to Jehovah our God. The things that have been revealed in these teachings belong to us and to our children forever. We must obey every word of this Law.

¹ Jehovah said to me: »Take a large writing tablet, and write on it with a pen: Maher Shalal Hash Baz (The Looting Will Come Quickly; the Prey Will Be Easy).

¹¹ His message is like a sealed book to you. You say to someone read this out loud. And they respond, »We cannot read it, because it is sealed.«

¹⁶ Tie up the written instructions. Seal the precepts (law) among my disciples.

⁴ »But you, O Daniel, keep the words secret, and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will run back and forth and knowledge will increase.«

⁹ He replied: »Go your way, Daniel for the words are kept secret and sealed till the time of the end.

²⁶ »The vision told about the evenings and mornings is true: but seal up the vision. It belongs to the future.«

² Jehovah answered me: »Write the vision. Record it on tablets that he who reads it may run. ³ »The vision is yet for the appointed time. It moves quickly to the end. It will not lie! If it delays, wait for it for it will surely come. It will not be late!

¹¹ It said: »Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven congregations in Asia: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.«

¹ »To the angel of the congregation of Ephesus write: The one who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lamp stands, says: ² »'I know your works, and your labor, and your patience. I also know how you cannot tolerate those who are evil. You tested those who say they are apostles. They are not apostles. You found them to be liars. ³ »'You have endured and are patient. You suffer for my name's sake and have not grown weary.

¹⁰ And he says to me: »Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near at hand.
