⁵ and when they were terrified, and bowed their faces to the earth, the men said to them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

³ His appearance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow. ⁴ And for fear of him the keepers shook, and became as dead men. ⁵ And the angel answering said to the women, Fear ye not; for I know that ye are seeking Jesus, who was crucified.

⁵ And they entered the tomb, and saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. ⁶ But he saith to them, Be not affrighted; ye seek Jesus the Nazarene who was crucified; he hath risen; he is not here; behold the place where they laid him.

¹² And Zachariah was troubled at the sight, and fear fell upon him. ¹³ But the angel said to him, Fear not, Zachariah; for thy prayer was heard, and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son; and thou shalt call his name John.
