1 Corinthians Cross References - RKJNT

1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, 2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all those in every place who call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their Lord and ours: 3 Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. 4 I thank my God always for you, because of the grace of God which has been given you in Jesus Christ; 5 That in everything you have been enriched by him, in all speech, and in all knowledge; 6 So the testimony about Christ has been confirmed in you: 7 Therefore you lack no spiritual gift; as you await the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 8 Who shall also confirm you to the end, blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 10 Now I urge you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree, and that there be no divisions among you; but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 11 For it has been declared to me about you, my brethren, by Chloe's people, that there are quarrels among you. 12 What I mean to say is that every one of you says, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were you baptized in the name of Paul? 14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, except Crispus and Gaius; 15 Lest anyone should say that you had been baptized in my name. 16 (I also baptized the household of Stephanas: besides that, I do not know whether I baptized anyone else.) 17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with eloquent words of wisdom, lest the cross of Christ should be emptied of its power. 18 For the preaching of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness; but to those of us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and frustrate the cleverness of the clever. 20 Where is the wise man? where is the scribe? where is the debater of this age? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by its wisdom did not come to know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of our preaching to save those who believe. 22 For Jews require a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom: 23 But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness; 24 But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For consider your calling, brethren: that not many were wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble: 27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are mighty; 28 And God has chosen base things of the world, and things which are despised, and things which are not, to reduce to nothing things that are: 29 That no flesh should boast in his presence. 30 But because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness, and holiness, and redemption: 31 So that, just as it is written, Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.

46 So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee, where he had made the water into wine. And there was a certain royal official, whose son was sick at Capernaum. 47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went to him, and begged him to come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point of death. 48 Then Jesus said to him, Unless you see signs and wonders, you will not believe. 49 The royal official said to him, Sir, come down before my child dies. 50 Jesus said to him, Go your way; your son lives. And the man believed the word that Jesus had spoken to him, and he went his way. 51 And as he was going down, his servants met him, and told him, Your son lives. 52 Then he enquired of them the hour when he began to mend. For Jesus knew from the beginning those who did not believe, and who would betray him. 65 And he said, Therefore I said to you, that no one can come to me, unless it is granted to him by the Father. 66 From that time many of his disciples drew back, and no longer walked with him.

As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine; neither can you, unless you abide in me.

Romans 1:7

7 To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. 8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

Romans 1:16

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Romans 1:20-22

20 For since the creation of the world his invisible nature, his eternal power and deity, has been clearly seen, being understood by the things that have been made; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because, though they knew God, they did not glorify him as God, nor were they thankful; but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Romans 1:22-22

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Romans 1:28

28 And as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper.

Romans 3:19

19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may be held accountable to God.

Romans 3:21-24

21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law has been manifested, though it is witnessed to by the law and the prophets; 22 This is the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe: for there is no difference:

Romans 3:22-24

22 This is the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Romans 3:27

27 Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what law? of works? No: but by the law of faith.

Romans 4:2

2 For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something of which to boast; but not before God.

Romans 4:6

6 Thus David speaks of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

Romans 4:17

17 (As it is written, I have made you a father of many nations,) before him in whom he believed, even God, who gives life to the dead, and calls into being those things which are not.

Romans 4:25

25 He was delivered to death for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Romans 5:19

19 For just as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Romans 5:21

21 So that as sin has reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:17

17 But thanks be to God, that you who were once the slaves of sin, have obeyed from the heart that standard of teaching which was entrusted to you.

Romans 8:1

1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:9

9 But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. Now if any man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to him.

Romans 8:19

19 For the creation waits in earnest expectation for the revealing of the sons of God.

Romans 8:23

23 And not only the creation, but ourselves as well, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we groan within ourselves, waiting for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.

Romans 8:28

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28-30

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 And whom he predestined, those he also called: and whom he called, those he also justified: and whom he justified, those he also glorified.

Romans 8:30-30

30 And whom he predestined, those he also called: and whom he called, those he also justified: and whom he justified, those he also glorified.

Romans 9:24

24 Even us, whom he has called, not only from among the Jews, but also from among the Gentiles?

Romans 9:32-33

32 Why? Because they did not seek it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone; 33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone, a rock that will make them fall: but whoever believes in him shall never be put to shame.

Romans 10:12

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord is Lord over all, bestowing his riches on all who call upon him.

Romans 11:12

12 Now if their fall means riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles; how much more will their fullness bring?

Romans 11:17

17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them, and with them partake in the rich root of the olive tree;

Romans 11:33

33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

Romans 11:33-36

33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who has known the mind of the Lord? or who has been his counsellor? 35 Or who has first given to him, that he might be repaid? 36 For from him, and through him, and to him, are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

Romans 11:36

36 For from him, and through him, and to him, are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

Romans 12:1

1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service of worship.

Romans 12:5

5 So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually are members one of another.

Romans 12:16

16 Be in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own conceits.

Romans 14:4

4 Who are you to judge another man's servant? to his own master he stands or falls. And he shall be upheld: for the Lord is able to make him stand.

Romans 14:8-9

8 For if we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord: therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose to life, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.

Romans 14:9

9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose to life, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.

Romans 15:4

4 For whatever things were written in the past were written for our instruction, that through endurance and the encouragement of the scriptures, we might have hope. 5 Now may the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, according to Christ Jesus: 6 That you may with one heart and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 15:14

14 And I myself am also convinced about you, my brethren, that you are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able also to admonish one another.

Romans 15:17

17 Therefore, through Jesus Christ I have reason to glory in my work for God.

Romans 15:19

19 Through the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

Romans 15:30

30 Now I urge you, brethren, for the sake of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;

Romans 16:7

7 Greet Andronicus and Junias, my kinsmen, and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

Romans 16:11

11 Greet Herodion, my kinsman. Greet those of the household of Narcissus, who are in the Lord.

Romans 16:17

17 Now I urge you, brethren, take note of those who cause divisions and difficulties, contrary to the doctrine which you have learned; and avoid them.

Romans 16:23

23 Gaius, host to me and the whole church, greets you. Erastus, the treasurer of the city, and our brother Quartus, greet you.

Romans 16:25

25 Now to him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which was kept secret for long ages past,

1 Corinthians 1:2

2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all those in every place who call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their Lord and ours: 3 Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. 4 I thank my God always for you, because of the grace of God which has been given you in Jesus Christ;

1 Corinthians 1:9

9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 Corinthians 1:15

15 Lest anyone should say that you had been baptized in my name.

1 Corinthians 1:18

18 For the preaching of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness; but to those of us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and frustrate the cleverness of the clever. 20 Where is the wise man? where is the scribe? where is the debater of this age? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by its wisdom did not come to know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of our preaching to save those who believe.

1 Corinthians 1:23-25

23 But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness; 24 But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1:24

24 But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

1 Corinthians 1:27-29

27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are mighty; 28 And God has chosen base things of the world, and things which are despised, and things which are not, to reduce to nothing things that are:

1 Corinthians 1:28-29

28 And God has chosen base things of the world, and things which are despised, and things which are not, to reduce to nothing things that are: 29 That no flesh should boast in his presence. 30 But because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness, and holiness, and redemption: 31 So that, just as it is written, Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 2:1-2

1 And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with lofty speech or wisdom as I declared to you the testimony of God.

1 Corinthians 2:1

1 And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with lofty speech or wisdom as I declared to you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

1 Corinthians 2:2

2 For I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

1 Corinthians 2:4-6

4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:5-6

5 That your faith should not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God. 6 Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are being brought to nothing:

1 Corinthians 2:6-6

6 Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are being brought to nothing:

1 Corinthians 2:8

8 Wisdom which none of the rulers of this world understood: for had they understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

1 Corinthians 2:13

13 Of these things we speak, not in words taught by man's wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness to him: neither can he understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 3:3

3 For you are still fleshly: for while there is among you envy, and strife, are you not fleshly, and walking as mere men? 4 For while one says, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are you not mere men? 5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each his task? 6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the growth.

1 Corinthians 3:9

9 For we are labourers together with God: you are God's field, God's building.

1 Corinthians 3:18-20

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks he is wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He catches the wise in their own craftiness.

1 Corinthians 3:19-20

19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He catches the wise in their own craftiness. 20 And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile. 21 Therefore, let no one glory in men. For all things are yours; 22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; 23 And you are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

1 Corinthians 4:5

5 Therefore, judge nothing before the time; before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the things hidden in darkness, and will disclose the motives of the heart: and then every man shall have his praise from God. 6 And these things, brethren, I have applied to myself and Apollos for your sakes; that through us you might learn not to go beyond that which is written, that none of you might become puffed up in favour of one against another. 7 For who makes you superior to another? and what do you have that you did not receive? now if you did receive it, why do you boast, as if you had not received it?

1 Corinthians 4:7

7 For who makes you superior to another? and what do you have that you did not receive? now if you did receive it, why do you boast, as if you had not received it? 8 Already you are full, already you are rich, you have become as kings without us: and I would that you had become kings, that we might also reign with you. 9 For I think that God has exhibited us apostles last of all, as if we were condemned to death: for we have become a spectacle to the world, to angels and to men. 10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honoured, but we are despised.

1 Corinthians 4:16

16 Therefore I urge you, be imitators of me.

1 Corinthians 5:5

5 Deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord Jesus. 6 Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

1 Corinthians 6:1-7

1 Does any of you dare, if you have a dispute against another, to go to law before the ungodly, instead of before the saints? 2 Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? how much more, things that pertain to this life? 4 If then you have such disputes, set them before those who are least esteemed in the church. 5 I speak this to your shame. Can it be that there is not a wise man among you who shall be able to judge between his brethren? 6 But brother goes to law against brother, and that before the unbelievers. 7 Now, it is utterly a defeat for you that you go to law one with another. Why do you not rather suffer the wrong? why do you not rather allow yourselves to be defrauded?

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

9 Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexual offenders, 10 Nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:11

11 And such were some of you: but you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Corinthians 6:16-17

16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute becomes one body with her? for the two, he says, shall become one flesh. 17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

1 Corinthians 7:29

29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: from now on let those who have wives be as though they had none;

1 Corinthians 8:6

6 But for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we exist through him.

1 Corinthians 8:11

11 And so through your knowledge the weak brother is ruined, he for whom Christ died.

1 Corinthians 9:1-2

1 Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are you not my work in the Lord? 2 If I am not an apostle to others, yet doubtless I am to you: for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 9:5

5 Do we not have the right to take along a believing wife, as do the other apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?

1 Corinthians 10:2

2 And were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

1 Corinthians 10:13

13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to endure; but with the temptation will also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.

1 Corinthians 10:16

16 The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?

1 Corinthians 11:18

18 For, first of all, when you come together as the church, I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

1 Corinthians 12:8

8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

1 Corinthians 12:10

10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another various kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

1 Corinthians 12:18

18 But now God has set the members, every one of them, in the body, as it has pleased him.

1 Corinthians 12:25

25 That there should be no division in the body; but that the members should have the same care for one another.

1 Corinthians 12:27

27 Now you are the body of Christ, and individually members of it.

1 Corinthians 13:2

2 And if I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so that I can remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:8

8 Love never fails: but where there are prophecies, they shall pass away; where there are tongues, they shall cease; where there is knowledge, it shall vanish away.

1 Corinthians 14:5-6

5 I would like for you all to speak in tongues, but even more that you would prophesy: for greater is he who prophesies than he who speaks with tongues, unless he interprets, so that the church may be edified. 6 Now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, how will I benefit you, unless I shall speak to you some revelation, or knowledge, or prophesy, or instruction?

1 Corinthians 14:18

18 I thank my God, that I speak with tongues more than all of you:

1 Corinthians 14:26

26 What then, brethren? when you come together, every one of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification.

1 Corinthians 15:2

2 By which you are also saved, if you hold fast to what I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:5

5 And that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve:

1 Corinthians 15:9

9 For I am the least of the apostles, and am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

1 Corinthians 15:50

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

1 Corinthians 15:54-57

54 When the perishable has put on the imperishable, and the mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 16:12

12 Regarding our brother Apollos, I strongly urged him to go to you with the brethren: but it was not at all his desire to go at this time; but he will come when he has the opportunity.

1 Corinthians 16:15

15 I urge you, brethren, (you know that those of the house of Stephanas were the first-fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to serving the saints,)

1 Corinthians 16:17

17 I am glad that Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus have come: for that which was lacking from you they have supplied.

2 Corinthians 1:1

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia: 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:14

14 Just as also you have understood us in part and recognized that you can be proud of us, even as we can be proud of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.

2 Corinthians 1:18

18 But as God is true, our word to you was not yes and no.

2 Corinthians 1:21

21 Now he who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, is God;

2 Corinthians 2:14

14 Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and makes manifest through us the fragrance of the knowledge of him in every place. 15 For we are an aroma of Christ to God, among those who are being saved, and among those who are perishing: 16 To the one we are the aroma of death to death; and to the other the aroma of life to life. And who is equal to such a calling?

2 Corinthians 4:2

2 But we have renounced the hidden, shameful things, and do not walk in craftiness, nor handle the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth we commend ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.

2 Corinthians 4:5

5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord; and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shone in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the transcendent power may be shown to be from God, and not from us.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15

14 For the love of Christ controls us; because we are convinced that one died for all, therefore all died: 15 And he died for all, that those who live should not henceforth live for themselves, but for him who died for them, and rose again.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21

17 Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, new things have come. 18 And all these things are from God, who has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 That is, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not counting men's sins against them; and he has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were making his appeal through us: we beg you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

2 Corinthians 5:20-21

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as if God were making his appeal through us: we beg you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For our sakes he has made him to be sin, who knew no sin; that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 6:1

1 We then, as workers together with him, urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain.

2 Corinthians 8:7

7 Therefore, as you excel in everything, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all earnestness, and in your love for us, see that you excel in this gracious work as well.

2 Corinthians 9:6

6 Now this I say, He who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully.

2 Corinthians 9:11

11 You will be enriched in everything, so you can be generous, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

2 Corinthians 10:1

1 Now I, Paul, urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who am meek in your presence, but bold when I am absent from you.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh: 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are mighty before God for the pulling down of strongholds.

2 Corinthians 10:4

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are mighty before God for the pulling down of strongholds.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are mighty before God for the pulling down of strongholds. 5 We cast down arguments, and every lofty thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;

2 Corinthians 10:10

10 For his letters, they say, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.

2 Corinthians 10:17

17 But he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.

2 Corinthians 11:2

2 For I am jealous of you with a godly jealousy: for I have betrothed you to one husband, that I might present you to Christ as a pure virgin.

2 Corinthians 11:4

4 For if one comes and preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you bear with him well enough. 5 I consider that I am not in the least inferior to these superlative apostles. 6 But though I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not in knowledge; we have made this plain to you in all things.

2 Corinthians 12:2

2 I knew a man in Christ who fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;) was caught up to the third heaven.

2 Corinthians 12:11

11 I have made a fool of myself; you have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended by you: for in nothing am I behind these superlative apostles, though I am nothing. 12 The signs of a true apostle were performed among you with all patience, by signs, and wonders, and miracles. 13 For in what way were you less favoured than other churches, except that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.

2 Corinthians 12:20

20 For I fear that when I come, I shall not find you as I wish, and you shall not find me to be as you wish; lest perhaps there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of wrath, rivalries, slander, gossip, conceit, disorder:

2 Corinthians 13:4

4 For though he was crucified in weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God to serve you.

2 Corinthians 13:11

11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Aim to be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Galatians 1:1

1 Paul, an apostle, (not sent from men, nor by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;) 2 And all the brethren who are with me, to the churches of Galatia:

Galatians 1:4

4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father:

Galatians 1:7

7 Which is not truly another; but there are some who trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Galatians 1:15-16

15 But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

Galatians 1:15

15 But when it pleased God, who set me apart from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, 16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles; I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood:

Galatians 2:7-8

7 But instead, when they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised; 8 (For he who worked effectively in Peter in his apostleship to the circumcised, also worked in me for the Gentiles:) 9 And when James, Cephas, and John, who were reputed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship; that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised.

Galatians 2:20

20 I have been crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians 3:1

1 O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been publicly portrayed as crucified?

Galatians 3:5

5 He who provides to you the Spirit, and works miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing with faith?

Galatians 3:13

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having been made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one who hangs on a tree.

Galatians 3:17

17 And this is what I mean, that the law, which came four hundred and thirty years later, cannot annul the covenant which was previously ratified by God, and thus make the promise void.

Galatians 4:12

12 Brethren, I urge you, be as I am; for I became as you are: you have not injured me at all.

Galatians 5:11

11 And if I, brethren, still preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? In that case the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.

Galatians 5:15

15 But if you bite and devour one another, take heed that you are not consumed by one another.

Galatians 5:20

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strife, jealousy, fits of rage, selfishness, dissensions, factions,

Galatians 5:22-24

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 Gentleness, self-control: against such things there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Galatians 5:26

26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying one another.

Galatians 6:12-14

12 Those who desire to make a good showing in the flesh would compel you to be circumcised; but only to avoid suffering persecution for the cross of Christ. 13 For not even those who are circumcised keep the law; but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. 14 But God forbid that I should glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

Galatians 6:14

14 But God forbid that I should glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world.

Ephesians 1:1

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places: 4 Just as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him. In love

Ephesians 1:7

7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Ephesians 1:10

10 That in the fulness of time he might gather all things together under Christ, both things which are in heaven, and things which are on earth. In him

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Ephesians 1:17-18

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 That the eyes of your heart may be enlightened; so you may know what is the hope of his calling, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

Ephesians 2:7

7 That in the ages to come he might show the incomparable riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:9

9 Not because of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has prepared beforehand for us to do.

Ephesians 2:20-22

20 Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the cornerstone; 21 In whom the whole building is joined together and grows to become a holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom you also are built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.

Ephesians 3:6

6 That is, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers together of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel:

Ephesians 3:8

8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, was this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; 9 And make all men see what is the plan of the mystery, which from past ages has been hidden in God, who created all things: 10 That now, to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places, the manifold wisdom of God might be known through the church,

Ephesians 3:10-10

10 That now, to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places, the manifold wisdom of God might be known through the church,

Ephesians 4:1-7

1 Therefore I, a prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love; 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope in your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Ephesians 4:5

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in all. 7 But to every one of us grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Ephesians 4:11

11 And he gave some as apostles; and some as prophets; and some as evangelists; and some as pastors and teachers;

Ephesians 4:30

30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you have been sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and quarreling, and slander, be put away from you, along with all types of malice: 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ has forgiven you.

20 Always giving thanks for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Ephesians 6:19

19 And for me, that words may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Philippians 1:6

6 Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:9

9 And this I pray, that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and in all discernment; 10 That you may approve things that are excellent; that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ;

Philippians 1:27

27 Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or am absent, I may hear of you, that you are standing fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Philippians 2:1-4

1 If, therefore, there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation in love, if any fellowship in the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, 2 Fulfill my joy by being likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord and of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfishness or vain conceit; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem the others as better than himself. 4 Let each of you not only look to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Philippians 2:9-11

9 Therefore, God has highly exalted him, and given him the name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth; 11 And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:14

14 Do all things without grumbling and disputing: 15 That you may be blameless and innocent, the children of God, without blemish, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world; 16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, nor laboured in vain.

20 But our citizenship is in heaven; from whence we eagerly look for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

22 All the saints greet you, especially those who are of Caesar's household.

Colossians 1:1

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

Colossians 1:9-10

9 For this reason, since the day we heard it, we do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 That you might walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please him in all things, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Colossians 1:14

14 In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Colossians 1:22

22 He has now reconciled in his body of flesh through death, to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable in his sight:

24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh that which is lacking in the afflictions of Christ for his body's sake, which is the church:

Colossians 2:2-3

2 That their hearts might be comforted as they are knit together in love, and that they might gain all the riches of the full assurance that comes from understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, of Christ; 3 In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Colossians 3:10

10 And have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of the one who created him.

Colossians 3:15

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to this; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Colossians 4:3-4

3 And pray also for us, that God would open for us a door for the word, that we may speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am in prison: 4 That I may make it clear, as I should.

1 Thessalonians 1:1

1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace to you, and peace.

1 Thessalonians 1:5

5 For our gospel came to you not in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and with full conviction. You know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

1 Thessalonians 1:10

10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, that is, Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.

1 Thessalonians 2:12

12 That you would walk in a manner worthy of God, who has called you into his kingdom and glory.

1 Thessalonians 3:13

13 So that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before God our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

1 Thessalonians 4:1-2

1 Furthermore, we urge you, brethren, and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have learned from us how you ought to walk and to please God, as indeed you are doing, so you would do more and more. 2 For you know what commandments we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 4:7

7 For God has not called us to impurity, but to holiness.

1 Thessalonians 5:13

13 And esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

23 Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you wholly; and may your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he who calls you, who also will do it.

2 Thessalonians 1:1

1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

2 Thessalonians 1:7

7 And to give rest to you who are afflicted, along with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire,

2 Thessalonians 1:10

10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all those who believe, including you, because our testimony among you was believed.

2 Thessalonians 2:1

1 Now, regarding the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brethren,

2 Thessalonians 2:10

10 And with all wicked deception for those who perish; because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

2 Thessalonians 2:14

14 To this he called you through our gospel, to obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who has loved us, and has given us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, 17 Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good work and word.

2 Thessalonians 3:3

3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil.

1 Timothy 1:1

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the commandment of God our Saviour, and of Jesus Christ, our hope;

1 Timothy 1:12

12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, for he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;

1 Timothy 1:14

14 And the grace of our Lord overflowed for me, along with the faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 2:6

6 Who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time. 7 And for this I have been appointed a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ and am not lying;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

1 Timothy 3:15

15 But if I tarry long, I write so you will know how you ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth.

1 Timothy 5:21

21 I solemnly charge you before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the chosen angels, that you observe these things without favouring one over another, doing nothing with partiality.

1 Timothy 6:4

4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but has an unhealthy craving for controversy and disputes about words, from which come envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions,

1 Timothy 6:14-15

14 That you keep the commandment without spot, free of reproach, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: 15 Which he will bring about in his own time, he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

2 Timothy 1:1

1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,

2 Timothy 1:8

8 Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but share in the afflictions of the gospel, by the power of God; 9 Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not by virtue of our works, but because of his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,

2 Timothy 2:22

22 Flee youthful lusts: and follow righteousness, faith, love, and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. 23 Have nothing to do with foolish and ignorant controversies, knowing that they breed strife. 24 And the servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome; but kind to all, able to teach, forbearing, 25 In gentleness correcting those who oppose him; that God might grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth;

2 Timothy 3:15-17

15 And how from childhood you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for all good works.

2 Timothy 4:1

1 I solemnly charge you before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom;

2 Timothy 4:8

Philemon 1:4

4 I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers,

Philemon 1:9-10

9 Yet for love's sake I prefer to appeal to you, I, Paul, the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ. 10 I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten while in these bonds:

Hebrews 2:3-4

3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? It was at first announced by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard him; 4 God also bearing witness, both with signs and wonders, and with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will.

Hebrews 2:11

12 For the word of God is alive, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart.

18 That by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us might have a strong encouragement.

James 1:9-11

9 Let the brother of humble circumstances rejoice that he is exalted: 10 And the rich, that he is made humble: because like the flower of the grass he shall pass away. 11 For the sun has no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withers the grass, and its flower falls, and its beauty perishes. In the same way shall the rich man fade away in the midst of his pursuits.

5 Listen, my beloved brethren, Has not God chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to those who love him?

James 3:14-17

14 But if you have bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, devilish.

James 3:15-17

15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, devilish. 16 For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there is confusion and every evil work.

James 3:16-17

16 For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

James 3:17-17

James 4:1-2

8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence; they stumble at the word, being disobedient: as they were appointed to do.
