¹⁸ When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then God has also granted to the Gentiles the repentance that leads to life.

¹⁹ Therefore repent, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;

²⁶ God, having raised up his servant, sent him first to bless you, by turning every one of you away from your iniquities.

³¹ God has exalted him with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

¹ Now the apostles and brethren who were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

⁴⁷ For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, I have set you to be a light for the Gentiles, that you should bring salvation to the ends of the earth. ⁴⁸ And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were appointed for eternal life believed.

²⁷ And when they had come, and had gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

³ And being sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, telling of the conversion of the Gentiles: and they brought great joy to all the brethren.

²¹ Testifying both to the Jews, and to the Greeks, of repentance toward God, and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁰ And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said to him, You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are who believe; and they are all zealous for the law:

²¹ And he said to me, Depart: for I will send you far away to the Gentiles. ²² And until this word they listened to him, then they lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live.

¹⁷ I will deliver you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, ¹⁸ To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance along with those who are sanctified by faith in me. ¹⁹ Wherefore, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision: ²⁰ But declared first to those of Damascus, then at Jerusalem, and throughout all the regions of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and perform deeds worthy of repentance.

²⁹ Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: ³⁰ Since God is one, and he shall justify the circumcised by faith, and the uncircumcised through faith.

³⁰ What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who did not follow after righteousness, have attained righteousness, the righteousness which is by faith;

¹² For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord is Lord over all, bestowing his riches on all who call upon him. ¹³ For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

⁹ And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will praise you among the Gentiles, and sing to your name. ¹⁰ And again he says, Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people. ¹¹ And again, Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles; and praise him, all you people. ¹² And again, Isaiah says, The root of Jesse shall come, and he shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles hope. ¹³ Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit. ¹⁴ And I myself am also convinced about you, my brethren, that you are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, and able also to admonish one another. ¹⁵ Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as a reminder, because of the grace given to me by God, ¹⁶ That I should be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, in the priestly service of the gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

¹⁸ But we all, with unveiled faces beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are changed into that same image, from glory to glory, and this is from the Lord, the Spirit.

¹⁰ For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation and leaves no regret: but the sorrow of the world produces death.

²⁴ And they glorified God because of me.

²⁶ For you are all sons of God by faith in Christ Jesus. ²⁷ For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

¹¹ Therefore remember, that in times past you Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by those who are called the Circumcision, (that which is performed in the flesh by hands;) ¹² That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. ¹⁴ For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the wall of hostility between us; ¹⁵ Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, the law of commandments and ordinances; to create in himself one new man in place of two, thus making peace; ¹⁶ And that he might reconcile both to God, in one body, through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. ¹⁷ And he came and preached peace to you who were far off, and to those who were near. ¹⁸ For through him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

⁵ Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; ⁶ That is, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and sharers together of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel: ⁷ Of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the working of his power. ⁸ To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, was this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

²⁵ In gentleness correcting those who oppose him; that God might grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth; ²⁶ And that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

¹⁶ Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. ¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
