¹³ Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having been made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one who hangs on a tree.

²⁸ For this is my blood of the covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins.

⁵ And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

³⁰ The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree.

²⁴ Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: ²⁵ Whom God has set forth to be an atoning sacrifice through faith in his blood. He did this to declare his righteousness, for in the forbearance of God, he passed over sins of the past; ²⁶ To declare at this present time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

²⁵ He was delivered to death for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

³ For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, as an offering for sin; condemning sin in the flesh: ⁴ That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk in the ways of the flesh, but in the ways of the Spirit.

³ For I could wish that I myself were accursed, cut off from Christ, for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

²¹ For our sakes he has made him to be sin, who knew no sin; that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

¹⁰ For all who depend on the works of the law are under a curse: for it is written, Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do all things which are written in the book of the law.

⁵ To redeem those who were under the law, that we might be adopted as sons.

² And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice, a sweet smelling aroma to God.

¹⁴ Who gave himself up for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people of his own, zealous for good works.

²⁶ For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, blameless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and exalted above the heavens; ²⁷ Who has no need, as do those high priests, to offer up daily sacrifices, first for his own sins, and then for those of the people: for this he did once for all, when he offered up himself.

¹² Nor by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, he entered once for all into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption.

¹⁵ And for this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions committed under the first covenant, those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance.

²⁶ For then he would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world: but now he has appeared once at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

²⁸ So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many; shall appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring full salvation to those who eagerly await him.

⁴ For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. ⁵ Therefore, when he came into the world, he said, Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you have prepared for me; ⁶ In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you have had no pleasure. ⁷ Then I said, Lo, I come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me,) to do your will, O God. ⁸ After he said above, Sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and offerings for sin you did not desire, neither did you have pleasure in them, which are offered according to the law; ⁹ Then said he, Lo, I come to do your will, O God. He takes away the first, that he may establish the second. ¹⁰ And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹⁸ For you know that you were not redeemed with perishable things, such as silver and gold, from the vain way of life you inherited from your fathers; ¹⁹ But with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish and without spot: ²⁰ Who was chosen before the foundation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for you, ²¹ Who through him believe in God, who raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

²⁴ He himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we might die to sins and live to righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

¹⁸ For Christ died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit,

¹ My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. And if any man does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: ² And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

¹⁰ In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

⁵ And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, and the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and freed us from our sins by his own blood,

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll, and to break its seals: for you were slain, and by your blood have purchased men for God out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

⁸ And all who live upon the earth shall worship him, every one whose name is not written in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world.
