¹³ Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried out, Hosanna: Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel.

⁹ And the multitudes that went before, and that followed after, cried out, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. ¹⁰ And when he came into Jerusalem, all the city was stirred, saying, Who is this? ¹¹ And the multitudes said, This is Jesus, the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

³⁹ For I say to you, You shall not see me again, until you shall say, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.

⁸ And many spread their garments on the road: and others spread branches they had cut in the fields. ⁹ And those who went ahead, and those who followed, cried out, Hosanna; Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord: ¹⁰ Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David: Hosanna in the highest.

³⁵ And they brought it to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they put Jesus on it. ³⁶ And as he went, they spread their clothes on the road. ³⁷ And as he was coming near, at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; ³⁸ Saying, Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.

⁴⁹ Nathanael answered and said to him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel.

¹⁵ Fear not, daughter of Zion: behold, your King comes, sitting on a donkey's colt.

¹⁵ But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate said to them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

¹⁹ And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. ²⁰ Many of the Jews read this title: for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Latin, and Greek. ²¹ Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, Do not write, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews. ²² Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

⁹ After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, from all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands;

³ And they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are your works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are your ways, O King of the ages.

¹⁶ And he has on his robe and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
