¹³ And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

²¹ The governor answered them, Which of the two do you want me to release for you? They said, Barabbas. ²² Pilate said to them, What shall I do then with Jesus who is called Christ? They all said to him, Let him be crucified. ²³ And the governor said, Why, what evil has he done? But they cried out all the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

¹⁴ Then Pilate said to them, Why, what evil has he done? And they cried out all the louder, Crucify him.

³⁸ Pilate said to him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, I find no fault in him.

⁴ Pilate went forth again, and said to them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that you may know that I find no fault in him.
