⁷ because three are who are testifying in the heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these -- the three -- are one;

¹⁶ And having been baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water, and lo, opened to him were the heavens, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him, ¹⁷ and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, 'This is My Son -- the Beloved, in whom I did delight.'

⁵ While he is yet speaking, lo, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and lo, a voice out of the cloud, saying, 'This is My Son, -- the Beloved, in whom I did delight; hear him.'

¹⁶ and if he may not hear, take with you yet one or two, that by the mouth of two witnesses or three every word may stand.

¹⁹ having gone, then, disciple all the nations, (baptizing them -- to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God;

³² And John testified, saying -- 'I have seen the Spirit coming down, as a dove, out of heaven, and it remained on him; ³³ and I did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water, He said to me, On whomsoever you mayest see the Spirit coming down, and remaining on him, this is he who is baptizing with the Holy Spirit; ³⁴ and I have seen, and have testified, that this is the Son of God.'

²⁶ for, as the Father has life in himself, so He gave also to the Son to have life in himself,

¹³ The Pharisees, therefore, said to him, 'You of yourself do testify, your testimony is not true;' ¹⁴ Jesus answered and said to them, 'And if I testify of myself -- my testimony is true, because I have known whence I came, and whither I go, and you -- you have not known whence I come, or whither I go.

¹⁸ I am one who is testifying of myself, and the Father who sent me does testify of me.'

⁵⁴ Jesus answered, 'If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing; it is my Father who is glorifying me, of whom you say that He is your God;

³⁰ I and the Father are one.'

³⁷ if I do not the works of my Father, do not believe me; ³⁸ and if I do, even if me you may not believe, the works believe, that you may know and may believe that in me is the Father, and I in Him.'

²⁸ Father, glorify Your name.' There came, therefore, a voice out of the heaven, 'I both glorified, and again I will glorify it;'

³³ at the right hand then of God having been exalted -- also the promise of the Holy Spirit having received from the Father -- he was shedding forth this, which now you see and hear;

³² and we are His witnesses of these sayings, and the Holy Spirit also, whom God gave to those obeying him.'

⁴ And there are diversities of gifts, and the same Spirit; ⁵ and there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord; ⁶ and there are diversities of workings, and it is the same God -- who is working the all in all.

¹⁴ the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, is with you all! Amen.

³ how shall we escape, having neglected so great salvation? which a beginning receiving -- to be spoken through the Lord -- by those having heard was confirmed to us, ⁴ God also bearing joint-witness both with signs and wonders, and manifold powers, and distributions of the Holy Spirit, according to His will.

¹² for the reckoning of God is living, and working, and sharp above every two-edged sword, and piercing unto the dividing asunder both of soul and spirit, of joints also and marrow, and a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart; ¹³ and there is not a created thing not manifest before Him, but all things are naked and open to His eyes -- with whom is our reckoning.

¹ That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we did behold, and our hands did handle, concerning the Word of the Life --

⁶ This one is he who did come through water and blood -- Jesus the Christ, not in the water only, but in the water and the blood; and the Spirit it is that is testifying, because the Spirit is the truth,

¹⁰ He who is believing in the Son of God, has the testimony in himself; he who is not believing God, a liar has made Him, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning His Son; ¹¹ and this is the testimony, that life age-during did God give to us, and this -- the life -- is in His Son;

⁴ John to the seven assemblies that are in Asia: Grace to you, and peace, from Him who is, and who was, and who is coming, and from the Seven Spirits that are before His throne, ⁵ and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first-born out of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth; to him who did love us, and did bathe us from our sins in his blood,

¹³ and he is arrayed with a garment covered with blood, and his name is called, The Word of God.
