¹⁵ and for all he died, that those living, no more to themselves may live, but to him who died for them, and was raised again.

⁷⁴ To give to us, without fear, Out of the hand of our enemies having been delivered,

¹⁵ that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during, ¹⁶ for God did so love the world, that His Son -- the only begotten -- He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during.

²⁴ 'Verily, verily, I say to you -- He who is hearing my word, and is believing Him who sent me, has life age-during, and to judgment he does not come, but has passed out of the death to the life.

⁵⁷ 'According as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, he also who is eating me, even that one shall live because of me;

² let it not be! we who died to the sin -- how shall we still live in it?

⁶ this knowing, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of the sin may be made useless, for our no longer serving the sin;

¹¹ so also you, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to the sin, and living to God in Jesus Christ our Lord. ¹² Let not then the sin reign in your mortal body, to obey it in its desires; ¹³ neither present you your members instruments of unrighteousness to the sin, but present yourselves to God as living out of the dead, and your members instruments of righteousness to God;

² for the law of the Spirit of the life in Christ Jesus did set me free from the law of the sin and of the death;

⁶ for the mind of the flesh is death, and the mind of the Spirit -- life and peace;

¹⁰ and if Christ is in you, the body, indeed, is dead because of sin, and the Spirit is life because of righteousness,

¹ I call upon you, therefore, brethren, through the compassions of God, to present your bodies a sacrifice -- living, sanctified, acceptable to God -- your intelligent service;

⁷ For none of us to himself does live, and none to himself does die; ⁸ for both, if we may live, to the Lord we live; if also we may die, to the Lord we die; both then if we may live, also if we may die, we are the Lord's; ⁹ for because of this Christ both died and rose again, and lived again, that both of dead and of living he may be Lord.

¹⁹ Have you not known that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit in you, which you have from God? and you are not your own, ²⁰ for you were bought with a price; glorify, then, God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

³³ as I also in all things do please all, not seeking my own profit, but that of many -- that they may be saved.

⁶ who also made us sufficient to be ministrants of a new covenant, not of letter, but of spirit; for the letter does kill, and the spirit does make alive.

¹⁶ So that we henceforth have known no one according to the flesh, and even if we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know him no more;

¹⁹ for I through law, did die, that to God I may live; ²⁰ with Christ I have been crucified, and live no more do I, and Christ does live in me; and that which I now live in the flesh -- in the faith I live of the Son of God, who did love me and did give himself for me;

²⁵ if we may live in the Spirit, in the Spirit also we may walk;

¹⁷ This, then, I say, and I testify in the Lord; you are no more to walk, as also the other nations walk, in the vanity of their mind,

¹⁴ wherefore he says, 'Arouse yourself, you who are sleeping, and arise out of the dead, and the Christ shall shine upon you.'

²⁰ according to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, and in all freedom, as always, also now Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether through life or through death, ²¹ for to me to live is Christ, and to die gain.

¹² being buried with him in the baptism, in which also you rose with him through the faith of the working of God, who did raise him out of the dead.

¹ If, then, you were raised with the Christ, the things above seek you, where the Christ is, on the right hand of God seated,

¹⁷ and all, whatever you may do in word or in work, do all things in the name of the Lord Jesus -- giving thanks to the God and Father, through him.

²³ and all, whatever you may do -- out of soul work -- as to the Lord, and not to men,

¹⁰ who did die for us, that whether we wake -- whether we sleep -- together with him we may live;

¹⁴ who did give himself for us, that he might ransom us from all lawlessness, and might purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works;

²⁰ And the God of the peace, who did bring up out of the dead the great shepherd of the sheep -- in the blood of an age-during covenant -- our Lord Jesus, ²¹ make you perfect in every good work to do His will, doing in you that which is well-pleasing before Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory -- to the ages of the ages! Amen.

¹⁴ as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves to the former desires in your ignorance, ¹⁵ but according as He who did call you is holy, you also, become holy in all behaviour,

² no more in the desires of men, but in the will of God, to live the rest of the time in the flesh; ³ for sufficient to us is the past time of life the will of the nations to have wrought, having walked in lasciviousnesses, desires, excesses of wines, revellings, drinking-bouts, and unlawful idolatries, ⁴ in which they think it strange -- your not running with them to the same excess of dissoluteness, speaking evil,

⁶ for this also to dead men was good news proclaimed, that they may be judged, indeed, according to men in the flesh, and may live according to God in the spirit.

⁹ In this was manifested the love of God in us, because His Son -- the only begotten -- has God sent to the world, that we may live through him;

¹⁸ and he who is living, and I did become dead, and, lo, I am living to the ages of the ages. Amen! and I have the keys of the hades and of the death.
