¹⁵ When, therefore, they dined, Jesus said to Simon Peter, 'Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me more than these?' he said to him, 'Yes, Lord; you have known that I dearly love you;' he said to him, 'Feed my lambs.'

³⁷ 'He who is loving father or mother above me, is not worthy of me, and he who is loving son or daughter above me, is not worthy of me,

¹⁷ And Jesus answering said to him, 'Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona, because flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but my Father who is in the heavens.

¹⁰ 'Beware! -- You may not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you, that their messengers in the heavens do always behold the face of my Father who is in the heavens,

³⁴ 'Then shall the king say to those on his right hand, Come you, the blessed of my Father, inherit the reign that has been prepared for you from the foundation of the world; ³⁵ for I did hunger, and you gave me to eat; I did thirst, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you received me; ³⁶ naked, and you put around me; I was infirm, and you looked after me; in prison I was, and you came unto me. ³⁷ 'Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungering, and we nourished? Or thirsting, and we gave to drink? ³⁸ And when did we see you a stranger, and we received? Or naked, and we put around? ³⁹ And when did we see you infirm, or in prison, and we came unto you? ⁴⁰ 'And the king answering, shall say to them, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of these my brethren -- the least -- to me you did it. ⁴¹ Then shall he say also to those on the left hand, Go you from me, the cursed, to the fire, the age-during, that has been prepared for the Devil and his messengers; ⁴² for I did hunger, and you gave me not to eat; I did thirst, and you gave me not to drink; ⁴³ a stranger I was, and you did not receive me; naked, and you put not around me; infirm, and in prison, and you did not look after me. ⁴⁴ 'Then shall they answer, they also, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungering, or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or infirm, or in prison, and we did not minister to you? ⁴⁵ 'Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it not to one of these, the least, you did it not to me.

³³ And Peter answering said to him, 'Even if all shall be stumbled at you, I will never be stumbled.'

³⁵ Peter said to him, 'Even if it may be necessary for me to die with you, I will not deny you;' in like manner also said all the disciples.

²⁹ And Peter said to him, 'And if all shall be stumbled, yet not I;'

³² 'Fear not, little flock, because your Father did delight to give you the reign;

³² and I besought for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when you did turn, strengthen your brethren.'

⁴² and he brought him unto Jesus: and having looked upon him, Jesus said, 'You are Simon, the son of Jonas, you shall be called Cephas,' (which is interpreted, A rock.)

⁴² Jesus then said to them, 'If God were your father, you were loving me, for I came forth from God, and am come; for neither have I come of myself, but He sent me;

³⁷ Peter said to him, 'Sir, therefore am I not able to follow you now? my life for you I will lay down;'

¹⁵ 'If you love me, my commands keep, ¹⁶ and I will ask the Father, and another Comforter He will give to you, that he may remain with you -- to the age; ¹⁷ the Spirit of truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it does not behold him, nor know him, and you know him, because he does remain with you, and shall be in you. ¹⁸ 'I will not leave you bereaved, I come unto you; ¹⁹ yet a little, and the world does no more behold me, and you behold me, because I live, and you shall live; ²⁰ in that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you; ²¹ he who is having my commands, and is keeping them, that one it is who is loving me, and he who is loving me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.' ²² Judas said to him, (not the Iscariot), 'Sir, what has come to pass, that to us you are about to manifest yourself, and not to the world?' ²³ Jesus answered and said to him, 'If any one may love me, my word he will keep, and my Father will love him, and unto him we will come, and abode with him we will make; ²⁴ he who is not loving me, my words does not keep; and the word that you hear is not mine, but the Father's who sent me.

²⁷ for the Father himself does love you, because me you have loved, and you have believed that I from God came forth;

⁷ That disciple, therefore, whom Jesus was loving said to Peter, 'The Lord it is!' Simon Peter, therefore, having heard that it is the Lord, did gird on the outer coat, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea;

¹² Jesus said to them, 'Come you, dine;' and none of the disciples was venturing to inquire of him, 'Who are you?' knowing that it is the Lord;

¹⁶ He said to him again, a second time, 'Simon, son of Jonas, do you love me?' he said to him, 'Yes, Lord; you have known that I dearly love you;' he said to him, 'Tend my sheep.' ¹⁷ He said to him the third time, 'Simon, son of Jonas, do you dearly love me?' Peter was grieved that he said to him the third time, 'Do you dearly love me?' and he said to him, 'Lord, you have known all things; you do know that I dearly love you.' Jesus said to him, 'Feed my sheep;

²⁸ 'Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit made you overseers, to feed the assembly of God that He acquired through His own blood,

¹ And him who is weak in the faith receive you -- not to determinations of reasonings;

¹ And we ought -- we who are strong -- to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves;

¹ And I, brethren, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly -- as to babes in Christ; ² with milk I fed you, and not with meat, for you were not yet able, but not even yet are you now able, ³ for yet you are fleshly, for where there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not fleshly, and in the manner of men do walk?

¹¹ and the brother who is infirm shall perish by thy knowledge, because of whom Christ died?

²¹ The salutation of me Paul with my hand; ²² if any one does not love the Lord Jesus Christ -- let him be anathema! The Lord has come!

¹⁴ for the love of the Christ does constrain us, having judged thus: that if one for all died, then the whole died, ¹⁵ and for all he died, that those living, no more to themselves may live, but to him who died for them, and was raised again.

⁶ for in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith through love working.

¹⁴ that we may no more be babes\'7binfants\'7d, tossed and borne about by every wind of the teaching, in the sleight\'7bwiles\'7d of men, in craftiness\'7bslyness\'7d, unto the artifice\'7bscheming\'7d of leading astray,

²⁴ The grace with all those loving our Lord Jesus Christ -- undecayingly! Amen.

¹⁵ of these things be careful; in these things be, that your advancement may be manifest in all things; ¹⁶ take heed to yourself, and to the teaching; remain in them, for this thing doing, both yourself you shall save, and those hearing you.

¹³ and there is not a created thing not manifest before Him, but all things are naked and open to His eyes -- with whom is our reckoning.

¹² Therefore, the hanging-down hands and the loosened knees set you up; ¹³ and straight paths make for your feet, that that which is lame may not be turned aside, but rather be healed;

²⁰ And the God of the peace, who did bring up out of the dead the great shepherd of the sheep -- in the blood of an age-during covenant -- our Lord Jesus,

⁸ whom, not having seen, you love, in whom, now not seeing and believing, you are glad with joy unspeakable and glorified,

² as new-born babes the word's pure milk desire you, that in it you may grow,

²⁵ for you were as sheep going astray, but you turned back now to the shepherd and overseer of your souls.

¹ Elders who are among you, I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of the Christ, and of the glory about to be revealed a partaker, ² feed the flock of God that is among you, overseeing not constrainedly, but willingly, neither for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind, ³ neither as exercising lordship over the heritages, but patterns becoming of the flock, ⁴ and at the manifestation of the chief Shepherd, you shall receive the unfading crown of glory.

¹⁹ we -- we love him, because He -- He first loved us;

¹ Every one who is believing that Jesus is the Christ, of God he has been begotten, and every one who is loving Him who did beget, does love also him who is begotten of Him:

²³ and her children I will kill in death, and know shall all the assemblies that I am he who is searching reins and hearts; and I will give to you -- to each -- according to your works.
