³⁴ 'The lamp of the body is the eye, when then your eye may be simple, your whole body also is lightened; and when it may be evil, your body also is darkened;

²² 'The lamp of the body is the eye, if, therefore, your eye may be perfect, all your body shall be enlightened, ²³ but if your eye may be evil, all your body shall be dark; if, therefore, the light that is in you is darkness -- the darkness, how great!

⁴ in whom the god of this age did blind the minds of the unbelieving, that there does not shine forth to them the enlightening of the good news of the glory of the Christ, who is the image of God;

³ and I fear, lest, as the serpent did beguile Eve in his subtilty, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in the Christ;

¹⁷ that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the recognition\'7bcomplete knowledge\'7d of him,

⁵ The servants! obey the masters according to the flesh with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to the Christ;

²² The servants! obey in all things those who are masters according to the flesh, not in eye-service as men-pleasers, but in simplicity of heart, fearing God;

⁹ him, whose presence is according to the working of the Adversary, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders, ¹⁰ and in all deceitfulness of the unrighteousness in those perishing, because the love of the truth they did not receive for their being saved, ¹¹ and because of this shall God send to them a working of delusion, for their believing the lie, ¹² that they may be judged -- all who did not believe the truth, but were well pleased in the unrighteousness.
