¹⁷ One of the crowd answered, "Teacher, I have brought my son to you. He has a dumb spirit,

²² Then there was brought to Jesus a demoniac, blind and dumb. He healed him so that he spoke and saw.

¹⁵ "Sir, have pity on my son, for he is a lunatic and is in a very bad way. For often he falls into the fire and often into the water.

²³ and pleaded with him earnestly, saying, "My little daughter is near to death. I beg you to come and lay your hands on her so that she may be saved and live."
