¹⁹ But, Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him concerning Herodias, the wife of his brother, and concerning all the wicked things Herod had done,

⁷ He that rebuketh a scoffer, getteth to himself contempt, and, he that reproveth a lawless man, [getteth to himself] his shame. ⁸ Do not reprove a scoffer, lest he hate thee, Reprove a wise man, and he will love thee.

¹² A scoffer, loveth not, one who reproveth him, unto the wise, doth he not go.
