¹⁵ But Jesus answered and said to him, Suffer me now; for thus, it becomes us to complete all righteousness. Then he suffered him;

¹⁷ And on the first day of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Where do you wish us to prepare for you to eat the passover? ¹⁸ And he said, Go into the city to such a one, and say to him, The Teacher says, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover with you, together with my disciples. ¹⁹ And the disciples did as Jesus commanded them, and prepared the passover;

⁷ Remove the old leaven, that you may be a new mass, as you are unleavened; for Christ our passover was also sacrificed for us. ⁸ Let us therefore keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with a leaven of vice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
