⁸ With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?

¹² And Samson said to them, "I will now put forth a riddle to you: If you can certainly declare it to me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty changes of clothes: ¹³ But if you cannot declare it to me, then you shall give me thirty sheets and thirty changes of clothes." And they said to him, "Put forth your riddle, that we may hear it." ¹⁴ And he said to them, "Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And after three days they could not expound the riddle. ¹⁵ And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said to Samson's wife, "Entice your husband, that he may declare to us the riddle, lest we burn you and your father's house with fire: Have you called us to take what we have? Is it not so?" ¹⁶ And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, "You only hate me, and do not love me: You have put forth a riddle to the children of my people, and have not told it to me." And he said to her, "Behold, I have not told it to my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it to you?" ¹⁷ And she wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted: And it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she pressed grievously upon him: And she told the riddle to the children of her people. ¹⁸ And the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down, "What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion?" And he said to them, "If you had not plowed with my heifer, you would not have found out my riddle." ¹⁹ And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of clothes to those which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father's house.

² "Son of man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable to the house of Israel;

⁸ Blessed are the pure in heart: For they shall see God.

¹⁰ Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say to you that in heaven their angels always behold the face of My Father which is in heaven.

¹⁵ As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father: And I lay down My life for the sheep.

¹⁸ For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

³ But if any man loves God, the same is known of Him.

⁹ For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. ¹⁰ But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

¹⁸ But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

¹² Not as though I had already attained, nor was already perfect: But I follow after, if I may attain that for which I also am apprehended by Christ Jesus.

²³ For if anyone is a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like a man beholding his natural face in a mirror:

² Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: But we know that when He appears, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.

⁴ And they shall see His face; and His name shall be in their foreheads.
