³⁰ Then hear you from heaven your dwelling place, and forgive, and render to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know; (for you only know are the hearts of the children of men before Him):

⁷ But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look on his countenance, nor on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart."

³⁹ Then hear you in heaven your dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart you know; (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men);

⁹ And you, Solomon my son, know you the God of your father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: For the LORD searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts: If you seek him, he will be found of you; but if you forsake him, he will cast you off forever.

¹⁷ I know also, my God, that You prove the heart through testing, and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: And now I have seen with joy Your people, which are present here, to offer willingly to You.

⁴ The LORD is in His holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: His eyes behold and His eyelids examine the children of men. ⁵ The LORD proves the righteous through testing: But His soul hates the wicked and him that loves violence.

²⁰ The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. ²¹ For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God. ²² For all His judgments were before me, and I did not put away His statutes from me. ²³ I also was upright before Him, and I kept myself from my iniquity. ²⁴ Therefore the LORD has recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His eyesight. ²⁵ With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; with an upright man You will show Yourself upright; ²⁶ with the pure You will show Yourself pure; and with the froward You will show Yourself froward.

¹² Also to you, O Lord, belongs mercy: For you render to every man according to his work.

¹⁰ I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

³⁰ Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, everyone according to his ways", said the Lord GOD. "Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

²⁷ For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels; and then He shall reward every man according to his works.

²⁵ and did not need from man that any should testify: For He knew what was in man.

¹³ Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: But all things are naked and uncovered to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to give account.

²³ And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am He which searches the inner reins and hearts: And I will give to every one of you according to your works.
