⁴¹ Then those that gladly received his word were baptized: And the same day there were about three thousand souls added to them.

⁴⁷ praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those such as should be saved.

⁶ And the people with one accord gave heed to the things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. ⁷ For unclean spirits, crying out with a loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: And many who were taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. ⁸ And there was great joy in that city.

⁴⁸ Now when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: And as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

³¹ And they said, "Believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house." ³² Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him, and to all that were in his house. ³³ And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, without delay. ³⁴ Then when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

¹⁴ And my trial which was in my flesh you did not despise, nor reject; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Where then is the blessedness you spoke of? For I bear you record, that if it had been possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

⁶ And you became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit:
