Who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? ¹² You stretched out Your right hand, the earth swallowed them. ¹³ You in Your mercy have led forth the people which You have redeemed: You have guided them in Your strength to Your holy habitation. ¹⁴ The people shall hear, and be afraid: Sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. ¹⁵ Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away. ¹⁶ Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of Your arm they shall be as still as a stone; until Your people pass over, O LORD, until the people which You have purchased pass over. ¹⁷ You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which You have made for Yourself to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O LORD, which Your hands have established. ¹⁸ The LORD shall reign forever and ever. ¹⁹ For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea. ²⁰ And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand; and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dances. ²¹ And Miriam answered them, "Sing to the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously; He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea." ²² So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. ²³ And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: Therefore the name of it was called Marah. ²⁴ And the people murmured against Moses, saying, "What shall we drink?" ²⁵ And he cried out to the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, which when he casted into the waters, the waters were made sweet: There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He proved them, ²⁶ and said, "If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in His sight, and will give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: For I am the LORD that heals you." ²⁷ And they came to Elim, where there were twelve wells of water, and seventy palm trees: And they encamped there by the waters.

¹⁷ And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: And I will get Myself honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. ¹⁸ And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten Myself honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen."

²⁷ And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

²¹ And Miriam answered them, "Sing to the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously; He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea."

¹¹ Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: For in the thing about which they dealt proudly He was above them."

¹ Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying, ² praise you the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves. ³ Hear, O you kings; give ear, O you princes; I, even I, will sing to the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel. ⁴ LORD, when you went out of Seir, when you marched out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and heaven dropped, the clouds also dropped water. ⁵ The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel. ⁶ In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied, and the travelers walked through byways. ⁷ The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel. ⁸ They chose new gods; then was war in the gates: Was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel? ⁹ My heart is toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people. ¹ And David spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul: ² And he said, "The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; ³ the God of my rock; in him will I trust: He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. ⁴ I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: So shall I be saved from my enemies. ⁵ When the waves of death compassed around me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid; ⁶ the sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me; ⁷ in my distress I called on the LORD, and cried out to my God: And he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears. ⁸ Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth. ⁹ There went up a smoke out of His nostrils, and fire out of His mouth devoured: Coals were kindled by it. ¹⁰ He bowed heaven also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet. ¹¹ And he rode on a cherub, and did fly: And he was seen on the wings of the wind. ¹² And he made darkness pavilions all around him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies. ¹³ Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled. ¹⁴ The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice. ¹⁵ And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them. ¹⁶ And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils. ¹⁷ He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters; ¹⁸ he delivered me from my strong enemy, and from those that hated me: For they were too strong for me. ¹⁹ They hindered me in the day of my calamity: But the LORD was my stay. ²⁰ He brought me forth also into a large place: He delivered me, because he delighted in me. ²¹ The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: According to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. ²² For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God. ²³ For all his judgments were before me: And as for his statutes, I did not depart from them. ²⁴ I also was upright before Him, and have kept myself from my iniquity. ²⁵ Therefore the LORD has recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight. ²⁶ With the merciful you will show yourself merciful, and with the upright man you will show yourself upright. ²⁷ With the pure you will show yourself pure; and with the froward you will show yourself unsavory. ²⁸ And the afflicted people you will save: But your eyes are on the haughty, that you may bring them down. ²⁹ For you are my lamp, O LORD: And the LORD will lighten my darkness. ³⁰ For by You I have run through a troop: By my God I have leaped over a wall.run; or, broken ³¹ As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is proven: He is a buckler shield to all those that trust in him. ³² For who is God, save the LORD? And who is a rock, save our God? ³³ God is my strength and power: And he makes my way perfect. ³⁴ He makes my feet like hinds' feet: And sets me on my high places. ³⁵ He teaches my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms. ³⁶ You have also given me the shield of your salvation: And your gentleness has made me great. ³⁷ You have enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip. ³⁸ I have pursued my enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them. ³⁹ And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: Yes, they are fallen under my feet. ⁴⁰ For you have girded me with strength to battle: Them that rose up against me have you subdued under me. ⁴¹ You have also given me the necks of my enemies, that I might destroy those that hate me. ⁴² They looked, but there was none to save; even to the LORD, but He did not answer them. ⁴³ Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad. ⁴⁴ You also have delivered me from the strivings of my people, you have kept me to be head of the heathen: A people which I did not know shall serve me. ⁴⁵ Strangers shall submit themselves to me: As soon as they hear, they shall be obedient to me. ⁴⁶ Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their enclosed places. ⁴⁷ The LORD lives; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation. ⁴⁸ It is God that avenges me, and that brings down the people under me. ⁴⁹ And that brings me forth from my enemies: You also have lifted me up on high above those that rose up against me: You have delivered me from the violent man. ⁵⁰ Therefore I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises to your name. ⁵¹ He is the tower of salvation for his king: And shows mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed forevermore.

¹ And in that day you shall say, "O LORD, I will praise You: Though You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comforted me. ² Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: For the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also has become my salvation. ³ Therefore with joy you shall draw water out of the wells of salvation. ⁴ And in that day you shall say, "Praise the LORD, call on His name, declare His doings among the people, make mention that His name is exalted. ⁵ Sing to the LORD; for He has done excellent things: This is known in all the earth. ⁶ Cry out and shout, you inhabitant of Zion: For great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of you.

¹⁰ Are You not the One who has dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; who has made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over? ¹¹ Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing to Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: They shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

¹⁵ and having spoiled principalities and powers, He made an exhibit of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

³ And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are Your ways, You King of saints.

⁷ And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your seed after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you, and to your seed after you.

²¹ so that I come back again to my father's house in peace; then the LORD shall be my God: ²² And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: And out of all that You shall give me I will surely give the tenth to You."

⁶ Moreover he said, "I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

¹⁵ And moreover God said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you: This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.' ¹⁶ Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, 'The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, "I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:

²² And you shall say to Pharaoh, 'Thus says the LORD, "Israel is My son, even My firstborn:

¹³ And Moses said to the people, "Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will show to you today: For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall not see them again anymore forever.

³⁴ Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

²¹ He is your praise, and he is your God, that has done for you these great and terrible things, which your eyes have seen.

⁵ go and tell my servant David, Thus says the LORD, Shall you build me a house for me to dwell in?

⁴⁷ The LORD lives; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.

⁵¹ He is the tower of salvation for his king: And shows mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed forevermore.

¹³ I have surely built you a house to dwell in, a settled place for you to abide in forever.

²⁷ But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain you; how much less this house that I have built?

¹ To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD, who spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said, "I will love You, O LORD, my strength. ² The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler shield, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

¹ A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

¹ Thus says the LORD, "The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool: Where is the house that you build to Me? And where is the place of My rest?

²³ Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: Truly in the LORD our God is the salvation of Israel.

³³ "But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days", said the LORD, "I will put My law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be My people.

³⁸ And they shall be My people, and I will be their God:

¹⁷ Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no food; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: ¹⁸ Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. ¹⁹ The LORD God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds' feet, and He will make me to walk upon my high places. ⁹ And I will bring the one-third through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will prove them through testing as gold is proved: They shall call on My name, and I will hear them: I will say, 'It is My people': And they shall say, 'The LORD is my God.' "

⁷⁷ to give knowledge of salvation to His people by the remission of their sins,

³⁰ For my eyes have seen Your salvation,

²² You worship what you do not know: We know what we worship: For salvation is of the Jews.

²³ That all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that does not honor the Son does not honor the Father which sent Him.

¹² Neither is there salvation in any other: For there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved."

¹⁹ Know that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them; and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

²² In whom you also are built together as a habitation of God through the Spirit.

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; ¹⁰ and have made us kings and priests to our God: And we shall reign on the earth." ¹¹ Then I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels all around the throne, and the beasts, and the elders: And the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; ¹² saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing." ¹³ And I heard every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, saying, "Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be to Him that sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever." ¹⁴ And the four beasts said, "Amen." And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him that lives forever and ever.

¹ And after these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying, "Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, to the Lord our God:

¹³ And Moses said to God, "Behold, when I come to the children of Israel, and shall say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you'; and they shall say to me, 'What is His name?' What shall I say to them?"

¹⁵ And moreover God said to Moses, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you: This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.'

² And God spoke to Moses, and said to him, "I am the LORD: ³ And I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by My name JEHOVAH I was not known to them.

⁶ Therefore say to the children of Israel, 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments: ⁷ And I will take you to Myself for a people, and I will be to you a God: And you shall know that I am the LORD your God, which brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. ⁸ And I will bring you into the land, concerning that which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am the LORD.' "

¹⁴ The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace."

⁸ Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

³ Gird Your sword upon Your thigh, O most mighty, with Your glory and Your majesty.

¹⁸ That men may know that You, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, are the Most High over all the earth.

⁸ I am the LORD: That is My name: And My glory I will not give to another, neither My praise to graven images.

¹¹ And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. ¹² His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but he Himself. ¹³ And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: And His name is called The Word of God. ¹⁴ And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. ¹⁵ And out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: And He shall rule them with a rod of iron: And He treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. ¹⁶ And He has on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. ¹⁷ Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather yourselves together to the supper of the great God; ¹⁸ that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses, and of those that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great." ¹⁹ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse, and against His army. ²⁰ And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that worked miracles before him, with which he deceived those that had received the mark of the beast, and those that worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. ²¹ And the remnant were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: And all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

⁶ And he made his chariot ready, and took his people with him: ⁷ And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

¹³ And Moses said to the people, "Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will show to you today: For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall not see them again anymore forever. ¹⁴ The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." ¹⁵ And the LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry out to Me? Speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward: ¹⁶ But you, lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it: And the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the middle of the sea. ¹⁷ And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: And I will get Myself honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen. ¹⁸ And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten Myself honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen." ¹⁹ And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them: ²⁰ And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them behind, but it gave light by night to these in front: So that the one did not come near the other all through the night. ²¹ And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. ²² And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground: And the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left. ²³ And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. ²⁴ And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked toward the armies of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the armies of the Egyptians, ²⁵ and took off their chariot wheels, that they drove them heavily: So that the Egyptians said, "Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fights against the Egyptians for them." ²⁶ And the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen." ²⁷ And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. ²⁸ And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there did not remain so much as one of them.

⁶³ And it shall be, when you have made an end of reading this book, that you shall bind a stone to it, and cast it into the middle of Euphrates: ⁶⁴ And you shall say, 'Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring on her: And they shall be weary.' " Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

³⁴ In the time when you shall be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters, your merchandise and all your company in the midst of you shall fall.

² and said, "I cried by reason of my affliction to the LORD, and He heard me; out of the belly of hell I cried out, and You heard my voice.

¹⁹ He will return again, He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

⁶ But whoever offends one of these little ones who believes in Me, it would be better for him that a millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

²¹ And a mighty angel took up a stone like a large millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

¹¹ Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

¹¹ Yours, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: For all that is in the heaven and in the earth is yours; your is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all. ¹² Both riches and honor come of you, and you reign over all; and in your hand is power and might; and in your hand it is to make great, and to give strength to all.

⁹ You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.' "

⁷ Show Your marvelous lovingkindness, O You that saves by Your right hand those which put their trust in You from those that rise up against them.

³ For they did not get the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: But Your right hand, and Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, because You brought to pass a favor to them.

⁵ That Your beloved may be delivered; save with Your right hand, and hear me.

¹¹ Why do You withdraw Your hand, even Your right hand? Pluck it out of Your bosom.

¹⁰ And I said, "This is my infirmity: But I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

⁸ O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like you? Or to Your faithfulness all around You? ⁹ You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves arise, You still them. ¹⁰ You have broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; You have scattered Your enemies with Your strong arm. ¹¹ The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours: As for the world and the fullness of it, You have founded them. ¹² The north and the south, You have created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in Your name. ¹³ You have a mighty arm: Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand.

¹ A Psalm. O sing to the LORD a new song; for He has done marvelous things: His right hand and His holy arm, have gotten Him the victory.

¹⁵ The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: The right hand of the LORD does valiantly. ¹⁶ The right hand of the LORD is exalted: The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

¹⁴ And He shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel which is broken in pieces; He shall not spare: So that after the bursting of it there shall not be found a shard to take fire from the hearth, or to take water out of the pit.

⁹ Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Was it not You who cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?

¹⁰ The LORD has made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

¹⁴ And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together", said the LORD: "I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them." ' "

¹³ And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.'

²⁷ 'And He shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter, they shall be broken to pieces: Even as I received from My Father.

¹⁶ And in fact for this very cause I have raised you up, through you to show My power; and that My name may be declared throughout all the earth.

²⁶ There is none like to the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the heaven in your help, and in his excellency on the sky.

¹³ Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may be no more: And let them know that God rules in Jacob to the ends of the earth. Selah.

³³ To Him that rides upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; look, he sends out His voice, and that's a mighty voice.

⁴⁹ He cast upon them the fierceness of His anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them. ⁵⁰ He made a way for His anger; He did not spare their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;

¹³ O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

¹³ Let them praise the name of the LORD: For His name alone is excellent; His glory is above the earth and heaven.

¹⁶ But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God who is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

²⁴ Therefore as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: Because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁷ Incline your ear, O LORD, and hear; open your eyes, O LORD, and see: And hear all the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent to reproach the living God.

²³ Whom have you reproached and blasphemed? And against whom have you exalted your voice, and lifted up your eyes on high? Even against the Holy One of Israel.

²⁹ Because your rage against me, and your tumult, have come up into my ears, therefore I will put my hook in your nose, and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn back by the way which you came." '

³⁶ Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and eighty and five thousand: And when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

³⁸ And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: And Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.

¹⁴ Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: There shall not be a coal to warm by, nor fire to sit before.

⁶ For as much as there is none like to You, O LORD; You are great, and Your name is great in might.

¹¹ Now also many nations are gathered against you, that say, "Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion."

⁹ What do all you imagine against the LORD? He will make an utter end: Affliction shall not rise up the second time. ¹⁰ For while they are entwined together as thorns, and while they are drunken as drunkards, they shall be devoured as fully dried stubble. ¹¹ There is one that comes out of you, that imagines evil against the LORD, a wicked counselor.a wicked counselor: In Hebrew, a counselor of Belial ¹² Thus says the LORD; "Though they be quiet, and likewise many, yet they shall be cut down, when he shall pass through. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more.

⁸ For thus says the LORD of hosts; "After the glory, He has sent me to the nations which plundered you: For he that touches you touches the apple of His eye.

³ Then the LORD shall go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.

⁸ And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: In summer and in winter it shall be.former; or, eastern

¹ "For behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yes, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: And the day that comes shall burn them up", says the LORD of hosts, "that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

¹² Whose fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly purge His floor, and gather His wheat into the granary; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

⁴ Then he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute Me?"

²¹ And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. ²² And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground: And the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left.

¹⁶ And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

⁹ By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.

¹³ He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and He made the waters to stand as a heap.

⁴ But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: And he shall smite the earth: With the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips he shall slay the wicked.

⁷ Behold, I will send a blast on him, and he shall hear a rumor, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land." ' "

¹⁰ The mountains saw You, and they trembled: The overflowing of the water passed by: The deep uttered its voice, and lifted up its hands on high.

⁸ And then that Wicked one shall be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the Spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:

²⁷ Benjamin shall tear in pieces as a wolf: In the morning he shall devour the prey, and at night he shall divide the spoil."

⁵ And the king of Egypt was told that the people fled: And the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, "Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?"

⁸ And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: And the children of Israel went out with a high hand. ⁹ But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

³⁰ have they not sped? Have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of diverse colors, a prey of diverse colors of needlework, of diverse colors of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of those that take the spoil?

² Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, "So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.

¹⁰ And Benhadad sent to him, and said, "The gods do so to me, and more also, if the dust of Samaria shall suffice for handfuls for all the people that follow me.

⁸ For he said, "Are not my princes altogether kings?" ⁹ Is not Calno as Carchemish? Is not Hamath as Arpad? Is not Samaria as Damascus? ¹⁰ As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria; ¹¹ shall I not, as I have done to Samaria and her idols, do so to Jerusalem and her idols? ¹² Therefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord has performed His whole work upon Mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks. ¹³ For he said, "By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: And I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:

²⁰ Who are they among all the gods of these lands, that have delivered their land out of my hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of my hand?"

¹² Therefore I will divide to Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He has poured out His soul to death: And He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

¹⁴ You struck through the head of his villages with his staffs: They came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: Their rejoicing was to even devour the poor secretly.

²² But when one stronger than he comes upon him, and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.

¹ And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the domestic beasts that were with him in the ark: And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;

²¹ And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

⁵ The depths have covered them: They sank into the bottom as a stone.

⁴ and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD has destroyed them to this day;

¹³ You did divide the sea by Your strength: You break the heads of the dragons in the waters. ¹⁴ You break the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gave him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.

⁷ He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries.

¹⁸ He sends out His word, and melts them: He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.

¹⁵ And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with His mighty wind He shall shake His hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams, and make men go over with dry sandals.

¹³ When He utters His voice, there is a multitude of waters in heaven, and He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightning with rain, and brings forth the wind out of His treasures.

¹³ For lo, He that forms the mountains, and creates the wind, and declares to man what His thought is, that makes the morning darkness, and treads upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is His name.wind; or, spirit

²⁷ So the men marveled, saying, "What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"

¹⁰ And he said, "Tomorrow." And he said, "Be it according to your word: That you may know that there is none like the LORD our God.

² speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them, You shall be holy: For I the LORD your God am holy.

²⁴ O Lord GOD, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your mighty hand: For what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to your works, and according to your might?

² There is none holy as the LORD: For there is none beside You: Neither is there any rock like our God.

²² Why you are great, O LORD God: For there is none like you, neither is there any God beside you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

²³ And he said, "LORD God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keep covenant and mercy with your servants that walk before you with all their heart:

¹⁰ All my bones shall say, "LORD, who is like You, which delivers the poor from him that is too strong for him, yes, the poor and the needy from him that plunders him?

⁵ Come and see the works of God: He is frightful in His doing toward the children of men.

¹⁴ You are the God that does wonders: You have declared Your strength among the people.

¹⁹ Your way is in the sea, and Your path in the great waters, and Your footsteps are not known.

⁸ Among the gods there is none like You, O LORD; neither are there any works like Your works.

⁵ And the heavens shall praise Your wonders, O LORD: Your faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints. ⁶ For who in the heaven can be compared to the LORD? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the LORD? ⁷ God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be held in reverence by all those that are around Him. ⁸ O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like you? Or to Your faithfulness all around You?

¹⁸ For the LORD is our defense; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

¹¹ Who knows the power of Your anger? Even according to Your fear, so is Your wrath.

¹²⁰ My flesh trembles for fear of You; and I am afraid of Your judgments.

¹⁷ The LORD is righteous in all His ways, and holy in all His works.

³ And one cried out to another, and said, "Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: The whole earth is full of his glory."

¹¹ Get out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us."

¹⁸ To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him?

²⁵ "To whom then will you liken Me, or to whom shall I be equal?" said the Holy One.

¹⁵ For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

² as when the melting fire burns, the fire causes the waters to boil, to make Your name known to Your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Your presence! ³ When You did terrible things which we did not look for, You came down, the mountains flowed down at Your presence.

⁶ For as much as there is none like to You, O LORD; You are great, and Your name is great in might. ⁷ Who would not fear you, O King of nations? For to you it does appertain: For among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like to You.

¹⁶ The portion of Jacob is not like them: For He is the former of all things; and Israel is the rod of His inheritance: The LORD of hosts is His name.

¹⁹ Behold, he shall come up from the swelling of Jordan like a lion against the habitation of the strong: But I will suddenly make him run away from her: And who is a chosen man, whom I may appoint over her? For who is like me? And who will appoint Me the time? And who is that shepherd who will stand before Me?

⁵ But I will forewarn you whom you shall fear: Fear Him, which after He has killed has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, Fear Him.

²⁸ Therefore, we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: ²⁹ For our God is a consuming fire.

¹⁵ But as He which has called you is holy, so likewise you be holy in all manner of conversation; ¹⁶ because it is written, "Be holy; for I am holy."

⁸ And each of the four beasts had six wings around him; and they were full of eyes within: And they did not rest day and night, saying, "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Which was, and is, and is to come."

⁴ Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For only You are holy: For all nations shall come and worship before You; for Your judgments are made manifest."

¹ And after these things I heard a great voice of many people in heaven, saying, "Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honor, and power, to the Lord our God: ² For His judgments are true and righteous: For He has judged the great whore, which corrupted the earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand." ³ And again they said, "Alleluia. And her smoke rose up forever and ever." ⁴ And the twenty-four elders and the four beasts fell down and worshiped God that sat on the throne, saying, "Amen; Alleluia." ⁵ Then a voice came out of the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all you His servants, and you that fear Him, both small and great." ⁶ And I heard as it were the voice of a large multitude, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, "Alleluia: For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns.

⁶ Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power: Your right hand, O LORD, has dashed the enemy in pieces.

¹⁶ And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful to him: And they brought him forth, and set him outside the city.

¹² Moreover you led them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way in which they should go.

¹⁴ You are the God that does wonders: You have declared Your strength among the people. ¹⁵ You have redeemed Your people with Your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

²⁰ You led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

⁵² But made His own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock. ⁵³ And He led them on safely, so that they did not fear: But the sea overwhelmed their enemies. ⁵⁴ And He brought them to the border of His sanctuary, even to this mountain, which His right hand had purchased.

¹ To the chief Musician upon Shoshannimeduth, A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, You that lead Joseph like a flock; You that dwell between the cherubims, shine forth.

⁹ He also rebuked the Red Sea, and it was dried up: So He led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

¹² That led them by the right hand of Moses with His glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make Himself an everlasting name? ¹³ That led them through the deep, as a horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble?"

⁶ Neither did they say, 'Where is the LORD who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelled?'

⁴ But God, who is rich in mercy, through His great love with which He loved us,

⁵ who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation, ready to be revealed in the last time.

¹⁴ And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: For they have heard that you LORD are among this people, that you LORD are seen face to face, and that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.

⁵ He sent messengers therefore to Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, "Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: Behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide in front of me:

⁴ And command you the people, saying, "You are to pass through the border of your brothers the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: Take you good heed to yourselves therefore: ⁵ Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given Mount Seir to Esau for a possession.

²⁵ This day will I begin to put the dread of you and the fear of you on the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of you, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of you.

⁹ and she said to the men, I know that the LORD has given you the land, and that your terror is fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. ¹⁰ For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when you came out of Egypt; and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.

²⁴ And they answered Joshua, and said, "Because it was certainly told your servants, how that the LORD your God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were severely afraid of our lives because of you, and have done this thing.

⁶ Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.

²⁹ Do not rejoice, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote you is broken: For out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.

³¹ Howl, O gate; cry, O city; you, whole Palestina, are dissolved: For there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.

¹⁴ And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, Thus said your brother Israel, You know all the travail that has befallen us: ¹⁵ How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelled in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians vexed us, and our fathers: ¹⁶ And when we cried out to the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and has brought us forth out of Egypt: And behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of your border: ¹⁷ Let us pass, I implore you, through your country: We will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: We will go by the king's high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed your borders. ¹⁸ And Edom said to him, "You shall not pass by me, lest I come out against you with the sword. ¹⁹ And the children of Israel said to him, "We will go by the high way: And if I and my domestic beasts drink of your water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without doing anything else, go through on my feet. ²⁰ And he said, "You shall not go through. And Edom came out against him with much people, and with a strong hand. ²¹ Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: Why Israel turned away from him.

³ And Moab was severely afraid of the people, because they were many: And Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel. ⁴ And Moab said to the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are all around us, as the ox licks up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time. ⁵ He sent messengers therefore to Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, "Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: Behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide in front of me:

⁴ And command you the people, saying, "You are to pass through the border of your brothers the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: Take you good heed to yourselves therefore:

⁸ And the officers shall speak further to the people, and they shall say, "What man is there that is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go and return to his house, lest his brethren's heart faint as well as his heart.

⁹ and she said to the men, I know that the LORD has given you the land, and that your terror is fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.

¹¹ And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: For the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

²⁴ And they said to Joshua, "Truly the LORD has delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.

¹ And it came to pass, when all the kings of the Amorites, which were on the side of Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, which were by the sea, heard that the LORD had dried up the waters of Jordan from before the children of Israel, until we were passed over, that their heart melted, neither was there spirit in them any more, because of the children of Israel.

⁸ Nevertheless my brothers that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: But I wholly followed the LORD my God.

¹⁶ And the watchmen of Saul in Gibeah of Benjamin looked; and behold, the multitude melted away, and they went on beating down one another.

¹⁰ And he also that is valiant, whose heart is as the heart of a lion, shall utterly melt: For all Israel knows that your father is a mighty man, and they which be with him are valiant men.

⁵¹ Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth, ⁵² duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon, ⁵³ duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar, ⁵⁴ duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.

² As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: As wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

⁷ Therefore all hands shall be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:

¹ The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rides on a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: And the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

⁷ And it shall be, when they say to you, 'Why do you sigh?' That you shall answer, 'For the tidings; because it comes: And every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak like water': Behold, it comes, and shall be brought to pass", said the Lord GOD.

¹⁰ She is empty, and void, and wasted: And the heart melts, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness.

⁷ I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: And the curtains of the land of Midian trembled.Cushan; or, Ethiopia

⁷ But a dog shall not move his tongue against any of the children of Israel, against man or beast: That you may know that the LORD does put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

⁵ Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice, and keep My covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure to Me above all people: For all the earth is Mine: ⁶ And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.' These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel."

²⁷ I will send My fear before you, and will destroy all the people to whom you shall come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.

²⁵ There shall no man be able to stand before you: For the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you on all the land that you shall tread on, as he has said to you.

⁶ Do you thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? Is not he your father that has bought you? Has he not made you, and established you?

⁹ For the LORD's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

⁹ He will keep the feet of His saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

³⁷ But it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his wife had told him these things, that his heart died within him, and he became as a stone.

²³ And what one nation in the earth is like your people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for your land, before your people, which you redeemed to you from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

² Remember Your congregation, which you have purchased of old; the rod of Your inheritance, which You have redeemed; this Mount Zion, in which You have dwelled.

¹ But now thus says the LORD that created you, O Jacob, and He that formed you, O Israel, "Fear not: For I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are Mine. ² When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle on you. ³ For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior: I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for you.

¹⁰ Are You not the One who has dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; who has made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?

¹¹ For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he.

²⁸ Therefore take heed to yourselves, and to all the flock, among whom the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which He has purchased with His own blood.

¹⁴ who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light:

¹ But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privately shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

² How you drove out the heathen with Your hand, and planted them; how You afflicted the people, and cast them out.

⁵⁴ And He brought them to the border of His sanctuary, even to this mountain, which His right hand had purchased. ⁵⁵ He also cast out the heathen before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

⁶⁸ But chose the tribe of Judah, the Mount Zion which He loved. ⁶⁹ And He built His sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which He has established forever.

⁸ You have brought a vine out of Egypt: You have cast out the heathen, and planted it.

¹³ For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation. ¹⁴ "This is My rest forever: Here I will dwell; for I have desired it.

¹ Now I will sing to my well Beloved a song of my Beloved touching His vineyard. My well Beloved has a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: ² And He fenced it, and gathered out the stones of it, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the middle of it, and also made a winepress in it: And He expected that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. ³ "And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, I implore you, judge between Me and My vineyard. ⁴ What more could have been done to My vineyard, that I have not done in it? Why, when I expected that it should bring forth grapes, it brought forth wild grapes?

²¹ Yet I had planted you a noble vine, wholly a right seed: How then are you turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine to me?

²³ Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; "As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I shall bring back their captivity; 'The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.'

⁴¹ Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with My whole heart and with My whole soul.'

¹⁶ The LORD is King forever and ever: The heathen have perished out of His land.

¹⁰ The LORD sits upon the flood; yes, the LORD sits King forever.

¹⁰ The LORD shall reign forever, even your God, O Zion, to all generations. All you praise the LORD.

⁴⁴ And in the days of these kings the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: And the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

³ How great are His signs! And how mighty are His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation."

¹⁴ And there was dominion, and glory, and a kingdom given to Him, that all people, nations, and languages should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

²⁷ And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High, Whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.'

¹⁵ Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He shall reign forever and ever." ¹⁶ And the twenty-four elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshiped God, ¹⁷ saying, "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which is, and was, and is to come; because You have taken to Yourself Your great power, and have reigned.

²² And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground: And the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left. ²³ And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

²⁸ And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there did not remain so much as one of them. ²⁹ But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand, and on their left.

³¹ The horse is prepared against the day of battle: But safety is of the LORD.

²⁹ By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land: Which the Egyptians attempting to do were drowned.

⁴ And his sister stood afar off, to know what would be done to him.

¹ And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: For he had married an Ethiopian woman.

¹ Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: And the people stayed in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.

⁵⁹ And the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bore to Levi in Egypt: And she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

⁴ And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.

³⁴ And Jephthah came to Mizpeh to his house, and behold, his daughter came out to meet him with tambourines and with dances: And she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.

²¹ and see, and behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come you out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.

⁵ After that you shall come to the hill of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is: And it shall come to pass, when you have come into the city, that you shall meet a company of prophets coming down from the high place with a psaltery, and a tabret, and a pipe, and a harp, before them; and they shall prophesy:

⁶ And it came to pass as they came, when David had returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of music.

⁵ And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on tambourines, and on cornets, and on cymbals.

¹⁴ And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.

¹⁶ And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart.

¹⁴ So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelled in Jerusalem in the college); and they communed with her.wardrobe: In Hebrew, garments

¹¹ You have turned for me my mourning into dancing: You have put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

¹¹ The Lord gave the word: Great was the company of those that published it.

²⁵ The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with tambourines.

² Take a psalm, and bring the timbrel to this place, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

³ Let them praise His name in the dance: Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.

⁴ Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: Praise Him with stringed instruments and organs.

⁴ For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of servants; and I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam before you.

³⁶ Also there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher: She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity;

⁹ And the same man had four daughters, virgins, who prophesied.

⁵ But every woman that prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head: For that is even the same as if she were shaven.

³⁴ Let your women keep silence in the churches: For it is not permitted to them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also the law says.

¹ Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying, "I will sing to the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously: The horse and his rider He has thrown into the sea.

³ Hear, O you kings; give ear, O you princes; I, even I, will sing to the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.

⁷ And the women answered one another as they played, and said, "Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands."

¹³ It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, "For he is good; for his mercy endures forever: That then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

⁷ Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. ⁸ Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. ⁹ Lift up your heads, O you gates; even lift them up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. ¹⁰ Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah.

¹ A Song of degrees. Behold, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, that stand by night in the house of the LORD. ² Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD. ³ The LORD that made heaven and earth bless you out of Zion.

Why, when I expected that it should bring forth grapes, it brought forth wild grapes? ⁵ And now come; I will tell you what I will do to My vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall of it, and it shall be trodden down: ⁶ And I will lay it waste: It shall not be pruned, nor dug; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain on it. ⁷ For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah His pleasant plant: And He looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry. ⁸ Woe to those that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the land! ⁹ In My ears said the LORD of hosts, "Truly, many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair looking ones, without inhabitant. ¹⁰ Yes, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of a homer shall yield an ephah. ¹¹ Woe to those that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; who continue until night, till wine inflames them! ¹² And the harp, and the viol, the tambourine, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: But they do not regard the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of His hands. ¹³ Therefore My people have gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: And their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. ¹⁴ Therefore hell has enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: And their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoices, shall descend into it. ¹⁵ And the contemptible man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: ¹⁶ But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God who is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness. ¹⁷ Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and strangers shall eat the desolate places of the rich ones. ¹⁸ Woe to those that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope: ¹⁹ That say, "Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: And let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near and come, that we may know it!" ²⁰ Woe to those that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! ²¹ Woe to those that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! ²² Woe to those that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: ²³ Who justify the wicked for a bribe, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! ²⁴ Therefore as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: Because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. ²⁵ Therefore the anger of the LORD is kindled against His people, and He has stretched forth His hand against them, and has smitten them: And the hills did tremble, and their carcasses were torn in the middle of the streets. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is outstretched still. ²⁶ And He will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss to them from the end of the earth: And behold, they shall come swiftly with speed: ²⁷ None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the lace of their shoes be broken: ²⁸ Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind: ²⁹ Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: Yes, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it. ³⁰ And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: And if one look to the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in its heavens.

⁹ And they sang a new song, saying, "You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: For You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;

¹⁰ And cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb." ¹¹ And all the angels stood all around the throne, and around the elders and the four beasts, and fell on their faces before the throne, and worshiped God, ¹² saying, "Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen."

³ And they sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four beasts, and the elders: And no man could learn that song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

⁷ And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain on the way to Shur.

¹⁸ And they dwelled from Havilah to Shur, that is before Egypt, as you go toward Assyria: And he died in the presence of all his brothers.

¹⁸ And they shall hearken to your voice: And you shall come, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and you shall say to him, 'The LORD God of the Hebrews has met with us: And now let us go, we beseech you, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.'

⁷ And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until you come to Shur, that is bordering Egypt.

⁸ And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.

²⁰ And she said to them, "Do not call me Naomi, call me Mara: For the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me.

¹¹ And they said to Moses, "Have you taken us away to die in the wilderness because there were no graves in Egypt? Why have you dealt in this peculiar way with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

² And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:

⁸ And Moses said, "This shall be, when the LORD gives you flesh to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to the full; for the LORD hears your murmurings which you murmur against Him: And what are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD." ⁹ And Moses spoke to Aaron, "Say to all the congregation of the children of Israel, 'Come near before the LORD: For He has heard your murmurings.' "

³ And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, "Is it for this reason that you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our domestic beasts with thirst?" ⁴ And Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, "What shall I do to this people? They are almost ready to stone me."

¹ And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: And the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed those that were in the uttermost parts of the camp. ² And the people cried out to Moses; and when Moses prayed to the LORD, the fire was quenched. ³ And he called the name of the place Taberah: Because the fire of the LORD burnt among them. ⁴ And the mixed multitude that was among them fell a lusting: And the children of Israel also wept again, and said, "Who shall give us flesh to eat? ⁵ We remember the fish, which we ate in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic: ⁶ But now our soul is dried away: There is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.

¹ And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. ² And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: And the whole congregation said to them, "Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would God we had died in this wilderness! ³ And why has the LORD brought us to this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? Were it not better for us to return into Egypt? ⁴ And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.

¹¹ For which cause both you and all your company are gathered together against the LORD: And what is Aaron, that you murmur against him?

⁴¹ But on the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, "You have killed the people of the LORD.

¹⁰ And the LORD said to Moses, "Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and you shall quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.

² And there was no water for the congregation: And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron. ³ And the people strived with Moses, and spoke, saying, "Would God that we had died when our brothers died before the LORD! ⁴ And why have you brought up the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our domestic beasts should die there? ⁵ And why have you made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in to this evil place? It is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.

⁵ And the people spoke against God, and against Moses, Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loathes this light bread.

¹⁹ Yes, they spoke against God; they said, "Can God furnish a table in the wilderness? ²⁰ Behold, He smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can He give bread also? Can He provide flesh for His people"?

²⁵ Therefore I say to you, Take no thought for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor even for your body, what you shall put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body more than clothing?

¹⁰ Nor murmur, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed by the destroyer.

¹⁴ Do all things without murmuring and disputing:

¹⁶ These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

¹⁰ And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were severely afraid: And the children of Israel cried out to the LORD.

⁴ Then the LORD said to Moses, "Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain allowance every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in My law, or not.

⁴ And Moses cried out to the LORD, saying, "What shall I do to this people? They are almost ready to stone me."

² And you shall remember all the way which the LORD your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, and to prove you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments, or no.

¹⁶ who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers knew not, that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end;

³ you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: For the LORD your God proves you, to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

²¹ And the people said to Joshua, "No; but we will serve the LORD. ²² And Joshua said to the people, You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, "We are witnesses. ²³ Now therefore put away, he said, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the LORD God of Israel. ²⁴ And the people said to Joshua, "The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey. ²⁵ So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.

²² That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk in it, as their fathers did keep it, or not.

¹ Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;

⁴ And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would listen to the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.

²¹ And he went forth to the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, "Thus says the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from there any more death or barren land.

⁴¹ But he said, "Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, "Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot.

¹⁵ And call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me."

¹⁰ For You, O God, have proved us: You have tried us, as silver is tried.

⁷ You called in trouble, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder: I proved you at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

¹⁵ He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.

⁶ Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel among those who call upon His name; they called upon the LORD, and He answered them.

³ The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold: But the LORD proves the hearts through testing.

⁷ Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of My people?

¹ Then the LORD said to me, "Though Moses and Samuel stood before Me, yet My mind could not be toward this people: Cast them out of My sight, and let them go forth.

¹⁸ For the preaching of the cross is foolishness to those that perish; but to us who are saved it is the power of God.

⁶ In which you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, you are in heaviness through diverse temptations: ⁷ That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

¹⁰ And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with pustules upon man, and upon beast. ¹¹ And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.

²⁹ And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of domestic beasts.

²⁵ And you shall serve the LORD your God, and He shall bless your bread, and your water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of you.

³ If you walk in My statutes, and keep My commandments, and do them;

¹³ I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their servants; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

¹² Why it shall come to pass, if you listen to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD your God shall keep to you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers: ¹³ And he will love you, and bless you, and multiply you: He will also bless the fruit of your womb, and the fruit of your land, your grain, and your wine, and your oil, the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your sheep, in the land which He swore to your fathers to give you.

¹⁵ And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you know, on you; but will lay them on all those that hate you.

²⁸ Observe and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.

¹⁸ when you shall hearken to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep all his commandments which I command you this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD your God.

¹ And it shall come to pass, if you shall listen diligently to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command you this day, that the LORD your God will set you on high above all nations of the earth: ² And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall hearken to the voice of the LORD your God. ³ Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the field. ⁴ Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, and the fruit of your ground, and the fruit of your domestic beasts, the increase of your cows, and the flocks of your sheep. ⁵ Blessed shall be your basket and your store. ⁶ Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out. ⁷ The LORD shall cause your enemies that rise up against you to be smitten before your face: They shall come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways. ⁸ The LORD shall command the blessing on you in your storehouses, and in all that you set your hand to; and he shall bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you. ⁹ The LORD shall establish you a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and walk in his ways. ¹⁰ And all people of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of you. ¹¹ And the LORD shall make you plenteous in goods, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your domestic beasts, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give you. ¹² The LORD shall open to you his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain to your land in his season, and to bless all the work of your hand: And you shall lend to many nations, and you shall not borrow. ¹³ And the LORD shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath; if that you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day, to observe and to do them: ¹⁴ And you shall not go aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand side, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them. ¹⁵ But it shall come to pass, if you will not hearken to the voice of the LORD your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you this day; that all these curses shall come on you, and overtake you:

²⁷ The LORD will smite you with the botch of Egypt, and with the tumors, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof you cannot be healed.

⁵⁸ If you will not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;

⁶⁰ Moreover he will bring on you all the diseases of Egypt, which you were afraid of; and they shall stick to you.

³³ Because that they have forsaken me, and have worshiped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon, and have not walked in my ways, to do that which is right in my eyes, and to keep My statutes and my judgments, as did David his father.

³⁸ And it shall be, if you will listen to all that I command you, and will walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with you, and build you a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel to you.

⁵ turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: Behold, I will heal you: On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD.

² And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in all the ways of David his father, and did not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

¹⁸ For he makes sore, and binds up: He wounds, and his hands make whole.

³ The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: You will make all his bed in his sickness. ⁴ I said, "LORD, be merciful to me: Heal my soul; for I have sinned against you."

³ Who forgives all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases;

³ He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

¹⁸ I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.

²² Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? Why then is the health of the daughter of My people not recovered?

⁶ Behold, I will bring it health and healing, and I will cure them, and will reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

⁵ But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,

¹ Come, and let us return to the LORD: For He has torn, and He will heal us; He has smitten, and He will bind us up.

¹¹ Behold, we count them happy who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the ending of the Lord; that the Lord is very compassionate, and of tender mercy. ¹² But above all things, my brethren, do not swear, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath: But let your "Yes" be "Yes"; and your "No", "No"; lest you fall into condemnation. ¹³ Is anyone among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is anyone of good cheer? Let him sing psalms. ¹⁴ Is anyone sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: ¹⁵ And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. ¹⁶ Confess your faults to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

⁹ And they removed from Marah, and came to Elim: And in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and three score and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.

³ Therefore with joy you shall draw water out of the wells of salvation.

¹² And by the river upon its bank, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for food, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall its fruit be consumed: It shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because of their waters which issued out of the sanctuary: And its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for medicine."

¹⁷ For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them to living fountains of waters: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."

² In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, there was the tree of life, which bore twelve kinds of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
