¹⁶ And you shall say to him, 'The LORD God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, "Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness": And behold, until now you would not hear.

These are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness. ⁹ Be strong, and commit yourselves like men, O you Philistines, that you not be servants to the Hebrews, as they have been to you: Commit yourselves like men, and fight."

¹³ I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: He shall build my city, and he shall let my captives go, not for price nor reward", said the LORD of hosts.

³³ Thus says the LORD of hosts; "The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: And all who took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.
