¹ In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was smitten, on the same day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me to that place. ² In the visions of God He brought me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, nearby which was a structure like the frame of a city on the south. ³ And he brought me to that place, and behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. ⁴ And the man said to me, "Son of man, behold with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I shall show you; because you were brought to this place for the intent that I might show them to you: Declare all that you see to the house of Israel." ⁵ And behold, a wall on the outside of the house all around, and in the man's hand a measuring reed six cubits long by the cubit and a hand breadth: So he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed. ⁶ Then he came to the gate which looks toward the east, and went up its stairs, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed wide; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed wide. ⁷ And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed wide; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the inside gate was one reed. ⁸ He also measured the porch of the inside gate, one reed. ⁹ Then he measured the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and its posts, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward. ¹⁰ And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they were three of one measure: And the posts had one measure on this side and on that side. ¹¹ And he measured the breadth of the entrance of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits. ¹² Also, the space before the little chambers was one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: And the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side. ¹³ He then measured the gate from the roof of one little chamber to the roof of another: The breadth was twenty-five cubits, from door to door. ¹⁴ He also made sixty cubit high posts, even up to the posts of the court all around the gate.60 Hebrew cubits (of the scriptures) high is approximately 109.5 feet, or 33.4m ¹⁵ And from the face of the gate of the entrance to the face of the porch of the inner gate was fifty cubits. ¹⁶ And there were narrow windows to the little chambers, and to their posts within the gate all around, and likewise to the arches: And windows were all around facing inward: And upon each post were palm trees. ¹⁷ Then he brought me into the outwardly-facing court, and look, there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court all around: Thirty chambers were upon the pavement. ¹⁸ And the pavement by the side of the gates which corresponds to the length of the gates was the lower pavement. ¹⁹ Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate to the forefront of the inner court outside, a hundred cubits eastward and northward. ²⁰ And the gate of the outwardly-facing court that looked toward the north, he measured its length, and its breadth. ²¹ And the little chambers of it were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its arches were after the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. ²² And their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were according to the measurements of the gate that looks toward the east; and they went up to it by seven steps; and its arches were before them. ²³ And the gate of the inner court was in front of the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate a hundred cubits. ²⁴ After that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: And he measured its posts and its arches according to these measures. ²⁵ And there were windows in it and in its arches all around, like those windows: The length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. ²⁶ And there were seven steps to go up to it, and its arches were before them: And it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, upon its posts. ²⁷ And there was a gate in the inner court toward the south: And he measured from gate to gate toward the south a hundred cubits. ²⁸ And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: And he measured the south gate according to these measures; ²⁹ and the little chambers of it, and its posts, and its arches, according to these measures: And there were windows in it and in its arches all around: It was fifty cubits long, and twenty-five cubits broad. ³⁰ And the arches all around were twenty-five cubits long, and five cubits broad. ³¹ And its arches were toward the outermost court; and palm trees were upon its posts, on this side, and on that side: And the stairway going up to it had eight steps. ³⁸ And the chambers and its entries were by the posts of the gates, where they washed the burnt offering. ³⁹ And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay upon it the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering. ⁴⁰ And on the side outside, as one goes up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables. ⁴¹ Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew their sacrifices. ⁴² And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half wide, and one cubit high: Upon which they also laid the instruments with which they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice. ⁴³ And inside were hooks, a hand-breadth wide, fastened all around: And upon the tables was the flesh of the offering. ⁴⁴ And outside the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south: One at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north. ⁴⁵ And he said to me, "This chamber, whose view is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the ordinances of the house. ⁴⁶ And the chamber whose view is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: These are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near the LORD to minister to Him." ⁴⁷ So he measured the court, a hundred cubits long, and a hundred cubits wide, foursquare; and the altar that was before the house. ⁴⁸ And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: And the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side. ⁴⁹ The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, and he brought me near the steps by which they went up to it: And there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side.

⁴¹ And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the same day it came to pass, that all the armies of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

¹ And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built forts against it all around. ² And the city was besieged to the eleventh year of king Zedekiah. ³ And on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land. ⁴ And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden: (now the Chaldeans were against the city all around): And the king went the way toward the plain. ⁵ And the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho: And all his army were scattered from him. ⁶ So they took the king, and brought him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment on him. ⁷ And they slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him with fetters of brass, and carried him to Babylon. ⁸ And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, to Jerusalem: ⁹ And he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king's house, and all the houses of Jerusalem, and every great man's house burnt he with fire. ¹⁰ And all the army of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, broke down the walls of Jerusalem all around. ¹¹ Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away. ¹² But the captain of the guard left of the door of the poor of the land to be vinedressers and farmers. ¹³ And the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brazen sea that was in the house of the LORD, did the Chaldeans break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon. ¹⁴ And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they ministered, took they away. ¹⁵ And the fire-pans, and the bowls, and such things as were of gold, in gold, and of silver, in silver, the captain of the guard took away. ¹⁶ The two pillars, one sea, and the bases which Solomon had made for the house of the LORD; the brass of all these vessels was without weight. ¹⁷ The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and the capital on it was brass: And the height of the capital three cubits; and the interweaved work, and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of brass: And like to these had the second pillar with interweaved work. ¹⁸ And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door: ¹⁹ And out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war, and five men of those that were in the king's presence, which were found in the city, and the principal scribe of the host, which mustered the people of the land, and three score men of the people of the land that were found in the city: ²⁰ And Nebuzaradan captain of the guard took these, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah: ²¹ And the king of Babylon smote them, and slew them at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away out of their land. ²² And as for the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler. ²³ And when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men. ²⁴ And Gedaliah swore to them, and to their men, and said to them, "Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldeans: Dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you. ²⁵ But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote Gedaliah, that he died, and the Jews and the Chaldeans that were with him at Mizpah. ²⁶ And all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the armies, arose, and came to Egypt: For they were afraid of the Chaldeans. ²⁷ And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison; ²⁸ and he spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon; ²⁹ and changed his prison garments: And he ate bread continually before him all the days of his life. ³⁰ And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life.

¹ In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon and all his army came against Jerusalem, and they besieged it. ² And in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, the city was broken up. ³ And all the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate, even Nergalsharezer, Samgarnebo, Sarsechim, Rabsaris, Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, with all the residue of the princes of the king of Babylon. ⁴ And it came to pass, that when Zedekiah the king of Judah saw them, and all the men of war, then they fled, and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king's garden, by the gate between the two walls: And he went out the way of the plain. ⁵ But the Chaldeans' army pursued after them, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho: And when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gave judgment on him. ⁶ Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: Also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah. ⁷ Moreover he put out Zedekiah's eyes, and bound him with chains, to carry him to Babylon. ⁸ And the Chaldeans burned the king's house, and the houses of the people, with fire, and broke down the walls of Jerusalem. ⁹ Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Babylon the remnant of the people who remained in the city, and those who fell away, who fell to him, with the rest of the people who remained. ¹⁰ But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left the poor of the people, which had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time. ¹¹ Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying, ¹² "Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do to him even as he shall say to you." ¹³ So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard sent, and Nebushasban, Rabsaris, and Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, and all the king of Babylon's princes; ¹⁴ they even sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: So he dwelled among the people. ¹⁵ Now the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying, ¹⁶ "Go and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; "Behold, I will bring My words on this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished in that day before you. ¹⁷ But I will deliver you in that day", said the LORD: "and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid. ¹⁸ For I will surely deliver you, and you shall not fall by the sword, but your life shall be for a prey to you: Because you have put your trust in Me", said the LORD.' "

¹ Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah. ² And he did that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done. ³ For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until He had cast them out from His presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon. ⁴ And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came against Jerusalem, he and all his army, and pitched against it, and built forts against it on every side. ⁵ So the city was besieged to the eleventh year of king Zedekiah. ⁶ And in the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the famine was severe in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land. ⁷ Then the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden; (now the Chaldeans were by the city on all sides): And they went by the way of the plain. ⁸ But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him. ⁹ Then they took the king, and carried him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment on him. ¹⁰ And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: He also slew all the princes of Judah in Riblah. ¹¹ Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison until the day of his death. ¹² Now in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, who served the king of Babylon, came into Jerusalem, ¹³ and burned the house of the LORD, and the king's house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, and all the houses of the great men, he burned with fire: ¹⁴ And all the army of the Chaldeans, who were with the captain of the guard, broke down all the walls of Jerusalem on every side. ¹⁵ Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive certain of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people who remained in the city, and those who fell away, who fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude. ¹⁶ But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left certain of the poor of the land for vinedressers and for farmers. ¹⁷ Also the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brazen sea that was in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon. ¹⁸ The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they ministered, they took away. ¹⁹ And the basins, and the fire-pans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver, the captain of the guard took away. ²⁰ The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brazen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: The brass of all these vessels was without weight. ²¹ And concerning the pillars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a fillet of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness of it was four fingers: It was hollow. ²² And a capital of brass was on it; and the height of one capital was five cubits, with network and pomegranates on the capitals all around, all of brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates were like these. ²³ And there were ninety-six pomegranates on a side; and all the pomegranates on the network were a hundred all around. ²⁴ And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door: ²⁵ He took also out of the city an eunuch, which had the charge of the men of war; and seven men of those that were near the king's person, which were found in the city; and the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and three score men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city. ²⁶ So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah. ²⁷ And the king of Babylon smote them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land. ²⁸ This is the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: In the seventh year three thousand and twenty-three Jews: ²⁹ In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred and thirty-two persons: ³⁰ In the three and twentieth year of Nebuchadrezzar Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the Jews seven hundred and forty-five persons: All the persons were four thousand six hundred. ³¹ And it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison. ³² And spoke kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings who were with him in Babylon, ³³ and changed his prison garments: And he continually ate bread before him all the days of his life. ³⁴ And for his diet, there was a continual diet given him by the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.

² On the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity, ³ the word of the LORD came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there on him.

¹⁴ So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong on me.

²² And the hand of the LORD was there on me; and he said to me, "Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will talk with you there."

¹ And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there on me.

²⁴ Afterwards the Spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to those of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

¹⁷ And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

¹ And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

¹⁷ It also came to pass in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

²¹ And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, on the fifth day of the month, that one who had escaped out of Jerusalem came to me, saying, "The city is smitten."

¹ The hand of the LORD was on me, and carried me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the middle of the valley which was full of bones,

¹⁰ I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

¹² and the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers all around, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:

¹⁹ All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.

² And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. ³ And many people shall go and say, "Come all of you, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths": For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

¹³ For you have said in your heart, "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will also sit on the mount of the congregation, in uttermost sides of the north:

² For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves on the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name.

¹ Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

³ And He put forth the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my head; and the Spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looks toward the north; where the seat of the image of jealousy was, which provokes to jealousy.

²² Thus says the Lord GOD; "I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant it on a high and eminent mountain: ²³ I plant it on the mountain of the height of Israel: And it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: And under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of its branches they they dwell.

³⁰ And these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures. ³¹ And the gates of the city shall be named after the tribes of Israel: Three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi. ³² And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: And three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan. ³³ And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: And three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun. ³⁴ At the west side four thousand and five hundred, with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali. ³⁵ It was eighteen thousand measures all around: And the name of the city from that day forward shall be, The LORD is there."The LORD is there; or in the Hebrew, Jehovahshammah

³⁴ You saw until a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and broke them to pieces. ³⁵ Then the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, were broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: And the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

¹ In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: Then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.

⁷ After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and exceedingly strong; and it had great iron teeth: It devoured and broke in pieces, and stomped the residue with its feet: And it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

¹ But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow to it.

¹⁷ 'And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

⁹ And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; there stood a man of Macedonia, and he implored him, saying, "Come over into Macedonia, and help us."

¹ Doubtless it is not expedient for me to make boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. ² I knew a man in Christ who over fourteen years ago (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows); such a one that was caught up to the third heaven. ³ And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows); ⁴ how he was caught up into Paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. ⁵ Of such a one I will make boast; yet of myself I will not boast, but in my infirmities. ⁶ For though I would desire to boast, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: But now I refrain, lest any man should think of me above that which he sees me to be, or what he hears from me. ⁷ And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, the messenger of Satan to wound me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

²⁶ But the Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

¹⁰ And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, ¹¹ having the glory of God: And her light was like a most precious stone, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; ¹² and had a large and high wall, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: ¹³ On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. ¹⁴ And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. ¹⁵ And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. ¹⁶ And the city lies four-square, and the length is as large as the breadth: And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length, breadth, and height of it are equal.12000 furlongs is approximately 1500 miles or 2414 kilometers. ¹⁷ Then he measured its wall, one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.144 Roman cubits is approximately 209 feet or 63.6 meters. ¹⁸ And its wall was built of jasper: And the city was pure gold, like clear glass. ¹⁹ And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; ²⁰ the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprase; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.sardius; or, ruby ²¹ And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every distinct gate was of one pearl: And the street of the city was pure gold, even like transparent glass. ²² And I saw no temple in it: For the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. ²³ And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: For the glory of God illuminates it, and the Lamb is the light of it.

²⁰ To the law and to the testimony: If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

¹⁷ I will also lay judgment on the line, and righteousness to the plummet: And the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

⁷ And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: And they sparkled like the color of burnished brass.

²⁷ And I saw as the color of amber, as the appearance of fire all around within it, from the appearance of His loins even upward, and from the appearance of His loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness all around.

³ And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

⁵ then I lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, a certain man was clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz: ⁶ His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet were like polished brass in color, and the voice of his words like the voices of a multitude.

¹ I lifted up my eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. ² Then I said, "Where are you going?" And he said to me, "To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its width, and what is its length."

¹⁵ and His feet were like fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and His voice as the sound of many waters.

¹ Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod: And the angel stood, saying, "Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those that worship in it.

¹⁵ And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.

¹⁰ O my threshing, and the grain of my floor: That which I have heard from the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, I have declared to you.

² "Thus says the LORD; 'Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD's house, all the words that I command you to speak to them; diminish not a word:

¹ And He said to me, "Son of man, stand upon your feet, and I will speak to you."

⁷ And you shall speak My words to them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: For they are most rebellious. ⁸ But you, son of man, hear what I say to you; Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house: Open your mouth, and eat what I give you.

¹⁷ "Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel: Therefore hear the word of My mouth, and give them warning from Me.

¹⁰ You son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: And let them measure the pattern.

⁵ And the LORD said to me, "Son of man, consider well, and behold with your eyes, and hear with your ears all that I say to you concerning all the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all its laws; and mark well the entrance of the house, with every outgoing passageway from the sanctuary.

²⁷ What I tell you in darkness, that speak in light: And what you hear in the ear, that preach upon the housetops.

⁹ He who has ears to hear, let him hear."

⁵¹ Jesus said to them, "Have you understood all these things?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord." ⁵² Then He said to them, "Therefore every scribe which is instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings forth out of his treasure things new and old."

²⁷ For I have not shunned to declare to you all the counsel of God.

²³ For I have received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread:

¹¹ For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold his bedstead was a bed frame of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? Nine cubits was its length, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

² As the mountains are all around Jerusalem, so the LORD is all around His people from this time forward, even forever.

¹ In that day this song shall be sung in the land of Judah; "We have a strong city; God will appoint salvation for walls and bulwarks.

¹⁸ Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.

²⁰ He measured it by the four sides: It had a wall all around, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred wide, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.

⁵ For I', says the LORD, 'will be to her a wall of fire all around, and will be the glory in the midst of her.' "

¹² and had a large and high wall, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

⁸ The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: And they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third.

¹⁸ who till now waited in the king's gate eastward: They were porters in the companies of the children of Levi.

²⁴ In four quarters were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.

²⁹ After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer in front of his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.

¹⁰ For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

² and go forth to the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell you,

¹⁶ And He brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshiped the sun toward the east.

¹⁸ Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.

¹ Moreover the Spirit lifted me up, and brought me to the east gate of the LORD's house, which looks eastward: And behold twenty-five men were at the door of the gate; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

⁵ And behold, a wall on the outside of the house all around, and in the man's hand a measuring reed six cubits long by the cubit and a hand breadth: So he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.

⁷ And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed wide; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the inside gate was one reed.

²⁰ And the gate of the outwardly-facing court that looked toward the north, he measured its length, and its breadth.

²⁶ And there were seven steps to go up to it, and its arches were before them: And it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, upon its posts.

¹ Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east:

⁸ In their setting of their threshold by My thresholds, and their post by My posts, and the wall between Me and them, they have even defiled My holy name by their abominations that they have committed: For which reason I have consumed them in My anger.

¹ Then he brought me back through the gate of the outwardly-facing sanctuary which looks toward the east; and it was shut.

¹ Thus says the Lord GOD; "The gate of the inner court that looks toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened. ² And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate outside, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate: Then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.

¹² Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily to the LORD, one shall then open the gate that looks toward the east for him, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he did on the Sabbath day: Then he shall go forth; and after his going forth one shall shut the gate.

¹ Afterward he brought me again to the door of the house; and behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: For the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.

⁵ And against the wall of the house he built chambers all around, against the walls of the house all around, both of the temple and of the oracle: And he made chambers all around: ⁶ The nethermost chamber was five cubits wide, and the middle was six cubits wide, and the third was seven cubits broad: For outside in the wall of the house he made narrowed rests all around, that the beams should not be fastened in the walls of the house. ⁷ And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: So that there was neither hammer nor ax nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building. ⁸ The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the house: And they went up with winding stairs into the middle chamber, and out of the middle into the third. ⁹ So he built the house, and finished it; and covered the house with beams and boards of cedar. ¹⁰ And then he built chambers against all the house, five cubits high: And they rested on the house with timber of cedar.

²⁶ For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in their set office, and were over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.

²⁸ Because their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;

⁹ And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.

¹¹ Then Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the LORD; and they prepared them,

²⁹ Watch you, and keep them, until you weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.

⁴ and I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:

²⁹ and the little chambers of it, and its posts, and its arches, according to these measures: And there were windows in it and in its arches all around: It was fifty cubits long, and twenty-five cubits broad.

³³ And the little chambers of it, and its posts, and its arches, were according to these measures: And there were windows in it and in its arches all around: It was fifty cubits long, and twenty-five cubits broad.

³⁶ its little chambers, its posts, and its arches, and the windows to it all around: The length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

⁵ Now the upper chambers were shorter: For the galleries were higher than those, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.

¹⁹ And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it upon the posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the main level of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.

⁹ And you shall make the court of the tabernacle: For the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine-twined linen of a hundred cubits long for one side:

¹⁷ the hangings of the court, its pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,

¹⁶ And its remainder shall Aaron and his sons eat: With unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.

⁶ And he said to me, 'Solomon your son, he shall build my house and my courts: For I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

⁴ Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

⁹ But they who have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they who have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of My holiness."

⁷ And He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.

¹ Then he brought me forth into the outermost court, the pathway toward the north: And he brought me into the chamber that was in front of the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.

⁴ And for the house he made windows of narrow lights.

²⁹ And he carved all the walls of the house all around with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, inside and outside.

³² The two doors also were of olive tree; and he carved on them carvings of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold on the cherubims, and on the palm trees.

³⁵ And he carved on it cherubims and palm trees and open flowers: And covered them with gold fitted on the carved work.

⁵ And the greater house he paneled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set on it palm trees and chains.

¹² The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹² Also, the space before the little chambers was one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: And the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.

²¹ And the little chambers of it were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its arches were after the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits. ²² And their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were according to the measurements of the gate that looks toward the east; and they went up to it by seven steps; and its arches were before them.

²⁵ And there were windows in it and in its arches all around, like those windows: The length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

³⁰ And the arches all around were twenty-five cubits long, and five cubits broad.

¹⁵ And he measured the length of the building in front of the separate place which was behind it, and its galleries on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court; ¹⁶ the door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries all around on their three stories, in front of the door, paneled with wood all around, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered;

¹⁸ And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces;

²⁶ And there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and on the side chambers of the house, and thick planks.

³ Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and in front of the pavement which was for the outermost court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.

² Now there is a pool in Jerusalem by the sheep market, which is called Bethesda in the Hebrew tongue, having five porches.

¹² For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: Now I know in part; but then I shall know even as I also am known.

⁹ After this I beheld, and lo, a large multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

⁵ And against the wall of the house he built chambers all around, against the walls of the house all around, both of the temple and of the oracle: And he made chambers all around:

¹¹ And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entranceway of the house of the LORD, by the chamber of Nathanmelech the chamberlain, which was in the suburbs, and burned the chariots of the sun with fire.

⁵ And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when He speaks.

³⁸ And the chambers and its entries were by the posts of the gates, where they washed the burnt offering.

⁶ And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was for the side chambers of the house all around, that they might provide support, but they did not provide support in the wall of the house.

⁴ And before the chambers was an inside walkway ten cubits wide, a pathway of one cubit; and their doors faced toward the north.

⁵ And the twenty-five thousand of length, and the ten thousand of width, the Levites, the ministers of the house, shall also have for themselves, for a possession of twenty chambers.

²¹ Then he brought me forth into the outermost court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and behold, in every corner of the court there was a court within a court.

² But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it; for it is given to the Gentiles: And they shall tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months.

²³ And the gate of the inner court was in front of the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate a hundred cubits.

²⁷ And there was a gate in the inner court toward the south: And he measured from gate to gate toward the south a hundred cubits.

⁶ Then he came to the gate which looks toward the east, and went up its stairs, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed wide; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed wide. ⁷ And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed wide; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the inside gate was one reed. ⁸ He also measured the porch of the inside gate, one reed.

¹⁰ And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they were three of one measure: And the posts had one measure on this side and on that side. ¹¹ And he measured the breadth of the entrance of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits. ¹² Also, the space before the little chambers was one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: And the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side. ¹³ He then measured the gate from the roof of one little chamber to the roof of another: The breadth was twenty-five cubits, from door to door. ¹⁴ He also made sixty cubit high posts, even up to the posts of the court all around the gate.60 Hebrew cubits (of the scriptures) high is approximately 109.5 feet, or 33.4m ¹⁵ And from the face of the gate of the entrance to the face of the porch of the inner gate was fifty cubits. ¹⁶ And there were narrow windows to the little chambers, and to their posts within the gate all around, and likewise to the arches: And windows were all around facing inward: And upon each post were palm trees.

³⁶ For on the plates of its ledges, and on its borders, he engraved cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions all around.

¹⁶ And there were narrow windows to the little chambers, and to their posts within the gate all around, and likewise to the arches: And windows were all around facing inward: And upon each post were palm trees.

³¹ And its arches were toward the outermost court; and palm trees were upon its posts: And the stairway going up to it had eight steps.

⁴⁹ The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, and he brought me near the steps by which they went up to it: And there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side.

¹ Therefore leaving the first principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

⁴⁴ And outside the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south: One at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north.

²⁰ And the gate of the outwardly-facing court that looked toward the north, he measured its length, and its breadth. ²¹ And the little chambers of it were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its arches were after the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

²⁸ And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: And he measured the south gate according to these measures; ²⁹ and the little chambers of it, and its posts, and its arches, according to these measures: And there were windows in it and in its arches all around: It was fifty cubits long, and twenty-five cubits broad.

³⁵ And he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures; ³⁶ its little chambers, its posts, and its arches, and the windows to it all around: The length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

⁹ But when the people of the land shall come before the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that enters in by the entranceway of the north gate to worship shall go out by the passageway of the south gate; and he that enters by the entranceway of the south gate shall go forth by the passageway of the north gate: He shall not return on the passageway of the gate by which he came in, but shall go forth across from it.

⁴⁶ I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes upon Me should not abide in darkness.

¹⁹ We also have a more sure word of prophecy; which you do well that you take heed of, as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns, and the day star arise in your hearts:

¹² The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. ¹³ Those that are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

⁷ This stature of yours is like a palm tree, and your breasts as clusters of grapes. ⁸ I said, "I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of its boughs": Now also your breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of your nose like apples;

²² And their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were according to the measurements of the gate that looks toward the east; and they went up to it by seven steps; and its arches were before them.

¹⁸ But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever. Amen.

³² And he brought me into the inner court toward the east: And he measured the gate according to these measures.

⁴⁷ So he measured the court, a hundred cubits long, and a hundred cubits wide, foursquare; and the altar that was before the house.

³⁵ And he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures;

¹¹ Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of its houses, and of its treasuries, and of the upper chambers of it, and of the inner parlors of it, and of the place of the mercy seat, ¹² and the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers all around, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:

⁵ And he had prepared for him a great chamber, where formerly they laid the food offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the grain, the new wine, and the oil, which was commanded to be given to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the offerings of the priests.

⁹ Then I commanded, and they cleansed the chambers: And thither brought I again the vessels of the house of God, with the food offering and the frankincense.

² "Go to the house of the Rechabites, and speak to them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink." ³ Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brothers, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites; ⁴ and I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:

¹⁰ Then Baruch read from the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher court, at the entry of the new gate of the LORD's house, in the ears of all the people.

¹⁰ And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they were three of one measure: And the posts had one measure on this side and on that side.

²¹ And the little chambers of it were three on this side and three on that side; and its posts and its arches were after the measure of the first gate: its length was fifty cubits, and the breadth twenty-five cubits.

²⁸ And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: And he measured the south gate according to these measures; ²⁹ and the little chambers of it, and its posts, and its arches, according to these measures: And there were windows in it and in its arches all around: It was fifty cubits long, and twenty-five cubits broad. ³⁰ And the arches all around were twenty-five cubits long, and five cubits broad. ³¹ And its arches were toward the outermost court; and palm trees were upon its posts: And the stairway going up to it had eight steps.

⁴ Then he brought me up the pathway of the north gate before the house: And I looked, and behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: And I fell upon my face.

² Then he brought me out of the passageway of the gate northward, and led me around the pathway outside to the outermost gate by the entranceway that looks eastward; and behold, there ran out waters on the right side.

⁹ But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: And the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet smell to the LORD.

²¹ And he washed the inwards and the legs in water; and Moses burnt the whole ram on the altar: It was a burnt sacrifice for a sweet smell, and an offering made by fire to the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

⁶ He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand side, and five on the left, to wash in them: Such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.

¹⁷ Then he brought me into the outwardly-facing court, and look, there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court all around: Thirty chambers were upon the pavement.

¹⁰ And between the chambers was a width of twenty cubits all around the house on every side. ¹¹ And the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: And the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits all around.

¹³ Then said he to me, "The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they are holy chambers, where the priests that approach the LORD shall eat the most holy things: There they shall lay the most holy things, and the food offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.

²² let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

³ If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: He shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD. ⁴ And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him. ⁵ And he shall kill the bull before the LORD: And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood all around upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ⁶ And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces. ⁷ And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay the wood in order on the fire: ⁸ And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar: ⁹ But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: And the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet smell to the LORD. ¹⁰ And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish. ¹¹ And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood all around upon the altar. ¹² And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: And the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar: ¹³ But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: And the priest shall bring it all, and burn it on the altar: It is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet smell to the LORD. ¹⁴ And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons. ¹⁵ And the priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be wrung out at the side of the altar: ¹⁶ And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes: ¹⁷ And he shall split it with its wings, but shall not divide it asunder: And the priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire: It is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet smell to the LORD.

² speak to the children of Israel, saying, "If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them: ³ If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he has sinned, a young bull without blemish to the LORD for a sin offering.

¹³ And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty; ¹⁴ when the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bull for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation. ¹⁵ And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the LORD: And the bull shall be killed before the LORD. ¹⁶ And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bull's blood to the tabernacle of the congregation: ¹⁷ And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, even before the veil. ¹⁸ And he shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ¹⁹ And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it on the altar. ²⁰ And he shall do with the bull as he did with the bull for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: And the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them. ²¹ And he shall carry forth the bull outside the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bull: It is a sin offering for the congregation. ²² When a ruler has sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty; ²³ or if his sin, in which he has sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish: ²⁴ And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: It is a sin offering. ²⁵ And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering. ²⁶ And he shall burn all his fat on the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: And the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him. ²⁷ And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he does somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty; ²⁸ or if his sin, which he has sinned, come to his knowledge: Then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he has sinned. ²⁹ And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering. ³⁰ And the priest shall take of its blood with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all its blood at the bottom of the altar. ³¹ And he shall take away all its fat, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it on the altar for a sweet smell to the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him. ³² And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish. ³³ And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering. ³⁴ And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all its blood at the bottom of the altar: ³⁵ And he shall take away all its fat, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire to the LORD: And the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he has committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

⁶ And he shall bring his trespass offering to the LORD for his sin which he has sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin. ⁷ And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he has committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. ⁸ And he shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder: ⁹ And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: It is a sin offering. ¹⁰ And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: And the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he has sinned, and it shall be forgiven him. ¹¹ But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil on it, neither shall he put any frankincense on it: For it is a sin offering. ¹² Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial of it, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire to the LORD: It is a sin offering. ¹³ And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he has sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: And the remnant shall be the priest's, as a food offering.

⁶ And he shall bring his trespass offering to the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest:

¹ Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: It is most holy. ² In the place where they kill the burnt offering shall they kill the trespass offering: And its blood shall he sprinkle all around upon the altar.

⁵ But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.

¹⁰ Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief: When you shall make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.

⁴² And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half wide, and one cubit high: Upon which they also laid the instruments with which they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice.

²² The altar of wood was three cubits high, and its length two cubits; and its corners, and its length, and its walls, were made of wood: And he said to me, "This is the table that is before the LORD."

¹⁶ "They shall enter into My sanctuary, and they shall come near My table, to minister to Me, and they shall keep My ordinances.

² And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate outside, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate: Then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.

⁷ You all offer polluted bread upon My altar; and you all say, 'In what have we polluted You?' In that you all say, 'The table of the LORD is contemptible.'

¹² "But you all have profaned it, in that you all say, 'The table of the LORD is polluted; and its fruit, even His food, is contemptible.'

³⁰ that all of you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel."all of you: In KJV, ye; hence "all of you" signifies a plural "you"

¹⁶ The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? ¹⁷ For we being many are one bread, and one body: For we are all partakers of that one bread. ¹⁸ Behold Israel after the flesh: Are not those who eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? ¹⁹ What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered in sacrifice to idols is anything? ²⁰ Rather, I am saying that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: And I would not intend that you should have fellowship with devils. ²¹ You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: You cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

²¹ For He has made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

³⁹ And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay upon it the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering. ⁴⁰ And on the side outside, as one goes up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables.

²⁵ And if you will make Me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone: For if you lift up your tool upon it, you have polluted it.

³⁹ And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay upon it the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering.

⁶ And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces.

⁸ And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar:

²⁰ And he cut the ram into pieces; and Moses burnt the head, and the pieces, and the fat.

³¹ And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest. ³² And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the LORD in Jerusalem: And then they waited on their office according to their order.

⁴¹ and with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy endures forever; ⁴² and with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters. ⁴³ And all the people departed every man to his house: And David returned to bless his house.

¹ Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: And the number of the workmen according to their service was: ² Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king. ³ Of Jeduthun: The sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD. ⁴ Of Heman: The sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth: ⁵ All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters. ⁶ All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman. ⁷ So the number of them, with their brothers that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that were cunning, was two hundred eighty and eight. ⁸ And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar. ⁹ Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: The second to Gedaliah, who with his brothers and sons were twelve: ¹⁰ The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ¹¹ The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ¹² The fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ¹³ The sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ¹⁴ The seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ¹⁵ The eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ¹⁶ The ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ¹⁷ The tenth to Shimei, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ¹⁸ The eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ¹⁹ The twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ²⁰ The thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ²¹ The fourteenth to Mattithiah, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ²² The fifteenth to Jeremoth, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ²³ The sixteenth to Hananiah, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ²⁴ The seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ²⁵ The eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ²⁶ The nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ²⁷ The twentieth to Eliathah, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ²⁸ The one and twentieth to Hothir, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ²⁹ The two and twentieth to Giddalti, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ³⁰ The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve: ³¹ The four and twentieth to Romamtiezer, he, his sons, and his brothers, were twelve.

¹⁹ speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

¹⁶ Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

³⁵ Therefore you shall abide at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that you die not: For so I am commanded.

²⁷ And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: These are the families of the Kohathites. ²⁸ In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.

³² And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of those that keep the charge of the sanctuary.

³⁸ But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

⁵ And you shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: That there be no wrath any more on the children of Israel.

⁴⁹ But Aaron and his sons offered on the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

²³ So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, namely, the house of the tabernacle, by wards.

¹¹ And they burn to the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: The show-bread also set they in order on the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with its lamps, to burn every evening: For we keep the charge of the LORD our God; but you have forsaken him.

¹ A Song of degrees. Behold, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, that stand by night in the house of the LORD.

⁵ Then He said to me, "Son of man, now lift up your eyes toward the way to the north." So I lifted up my eyes toward the way to the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar, this image of jealousy was in the entrance.

⁴ And all of you shall know that I have sent this commandment to you, that My covenant might be with Levi", says the LORD of hosts. ⁵ "My covenant of life and peace was with him; and I gave them to him for the fear with which he feared Me, and was afraid before My name. ⁶ The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: He walked with Me in peace and equity, and turned many away from iniquity. ⁷ For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: For he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

²⁰ O Timothy, keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science (falsely so called):

⁶ and has made us kings and priests to God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

¹² And the fire on the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. ¹³ The fire shall ever be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.

³ Then Moses said to Aaron, "This is it that the LORD spoke, saying, "I will be sanctified in them that come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

⁵ And he spoke to Korah and to all his company, saying, "Even tomorrow the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near to him: Even him whom he has chosen will he cause to come near to him.

⁴⁰ To be a memorial to the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: As the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

³⁵ And the king put Benaiah the son of Jehoiada in his room over the host: And Zadok the priest did the king put in the room of Abiathar.

¹⁹ And you shall give a young bull for a sin offering to the Levite priests that are of the seed of Zadok, which approach Me, to minister to Me', says the Lord GOD.

¹⁵ But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the ordinances of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near to Me to minister to Me, and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood", says the Lord GOD:

⁴ The holy portion of the land shall be for the priests the ministers of the sanctuary, which shall come near to minister to the LORD: And it shall be a place for their houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary.

¹¹ It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept My ordinances, which did not go astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.

¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who sometimes were far off are brought near by the blood of Christ.

³ And the porch before the temple of the house, twenty cubits was its length, according to the breadth of the house; and ten cubits was its breadth before the house.

⁴ And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was a hundred and twenty: And he overlaid it within with pure gold.

¹⁵ For he cast two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece: And a line of twelve cubits did compass either of them about. ¹⁶ And he made two capitals of molten brass, to set on the tops of the pillars: The height of the one capital was five cubits, and the height of the other capital was five cubits: ¹⁷ And nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital, and seven for the other capital. ¹⁸ And he made the pillars, and two rows all around on the one network, to cover the capitals that were on the top, with pomegranates: And so did he for the other capital. ¹⁹ And the capitals that were on the top of the pillars were of lily work in the porch, four cubits. ²⁰ And the capitals on the two pillars had pomegranates also above, in front of the belly which was by the network: And the pomegranates were two hundred in rows all around on the other capital. ²¹ And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: And he set up the right pillar, and called its name Jachin: And he set up the left pillar, and called its name Boaz.

¹⁷ And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand side, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.

¹⁷ Also the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brazen sea that was in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans broke, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon. ¹⁸ The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass with which they ministered, they took away. ¹⁹ And the basins, and the fire-pans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver, the captain of the guard took away. ²⁰ The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brazen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: The brass of all these vessels was without weight. ²¹ And concerning the pillars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a fillet of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness of it was four fingers: It was hollow. ²² And a capital of brass was on it; and the height of one capital was five cubits, with network and pomegranates on the capitals all around, all of brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates were like these. ²³ And there were ninety-six pomegranates on a side; and all the pomegranates on the network were a hundred all around.

¹² He that overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more: And I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God: And I will write upon him My new name."
