¹⁹ And you shall give a young bull for a sin offering to the Levite priests that are of the seed of Zadok, which approach Me, to minister to Me', says the Lord GOD.

¹⁰ And you shall cause a bull to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: And Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bull. ¹¹ And you shall kill the bull before the LORD, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

³ If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he has sinned, a young bull without blemish to the LORD for a sin offering. ⁴ And he shall bring the bull to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the bull's head, and kill the bull before the LORD. ⁵ And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bull's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation: ⁶ And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the LORD, before the veil of the sanctuary. ⁷ And the priest shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bull at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ⁸ And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bull for the sin offering; the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards, ⁹ and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the lobe above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away, ¹⁰ as it was taken off from the bull of the sacrifice of peace offerings: And the priest shall burn them on the altar of the burnt offering. ¹¹ And the skin of the bull, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung, ¹² even the whole bull shall he carry forth outside the camp to a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: Where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt. ¹³ And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty; ¹⁴ when the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bull for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation. ¹⁵ And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the LORD: And the bull shall be killed before the LORD. ¹⁶ And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bull's blood to the tabernacle of the congregation: ¹⁷ And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, even before the veil. ¹⁸ And he shall put some of the blood on the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. ¹⁹ And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it on the altar. ²⁰ And he shall do with the bull as he did with the bull for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: And the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them. ²¹ And he shall carry forth the bull outside the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bull: It is a sin offering for the congregation. ²² When a ruler has sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty; ²³ or if his sin, in which he has sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish: ²⁴ And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: It is a sin offering. ²⁵ And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering. ²⁶ And he shall burn all his fat on the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: And the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him. ²⁷ And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he does somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty; ²⁸ or if his sin, which he has sinned, come to his knowledge: Then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he has sinned. ²⁹ And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering. ³⁰ And the priest shall take of its blood with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all its blood at the bottom of the altar. ³¹ And he shall take away all its fat, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it on the altar for a sweet smell to the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him. ³² And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish. ³³ And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering. ³⁴ And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all its blood at the bottom of the altar: ³⁵ And he shall take away all its fat, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire to the LORD: And the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he has committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

¹⁴ And he brought the bull for the sin offering: And Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull for the sin offering. ¹⁵ And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar all around with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation on it.

⁵ And he spoke to Korah and to all his company, saying, "Even tomorrow the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near to him: Even him whom he has chosen will he cause to come near to him.

⁴⁰ To be a memorial to the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: As the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

⁵ And you shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: That there be no wrath any more on the children of Israel.

³⁵ And I will raise Myself up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in My heart and in My mind: And I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before My anointed forever. ³⁶ And it shall come to pass, that everyone who is left in your house shall come and crouch down to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, "Put me, I implore you, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread." ' "

²⁷ So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being priest to the LORD; that he might fulfill the word of the LORD, which he spoke concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.

³⁵ And the king put Benaiah the son of Jehoiada in his room over the host: And Zadok the priest did the king put in the room of Abiathar.

⁶ But you shall be named the Priests of the LORD: Men shall call you the Ministers of our God: You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory you yourselves shall boast.

²² "For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before Me", said the LORD, "so shall your seed and your name remain.

¹⁸ neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before Me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle food offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.' " ¹⁹ And the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying, ²⁰ "Thus says the LORD; 'If you can break My covenant of the day, and My covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; ²¹ then also may My covenant be broken with David My servant, that he should not have a son to reign on his throne; and with the Levites the priests, My ministers. ²² As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: So I will multiply the seed of David My servant, and the Levites who minister to Me.'

⁴⁶ And the chamber whose view is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: These are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near the LORD to minister to Him."

¹⁵ But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the ordinances of My sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from Me, they shall come near to Me to minister to Me, and they shall stand before Me to offer to Me the fat and the blood", says the Lord GOD:

¹⁸ Thus says the Lord GOD; "In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary: ¹⁹ And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it upon the posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the main level of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.

¹¹ It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept My ordinances, which did not go astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.

²¹ For He has made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.

²⁷ who needs not offer up daily sacrifice, as those high priests did, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: For this He did once, when He offered up Himself.

⁵ you also, as lively stones, are built up as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

⁹ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light:
