⁶ I marvel that you have so soon turned away from Him that called you into the grace of Christ to another gospel:

¹³ They soon forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel:

¹³ Therefore the Lord said, "For as much as these people draw near Me with their mouths, and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the precept of men:

¹² Be astonished, O you heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid, be very desolate all of you", said the LORD. ¹³ "For My people have committed two evils; they have forsaken Me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

⁶ And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went all around the villages, teaching.

³⁰ The man answered and said to them, "Why, this is a marvelous thing, that you do not know where He is from, and yet He has opened my eyes.

¹¹ But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they shall be saved."

² By whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

³ For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God.

¹⁵ For though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers: For in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

⁴ For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if you receive another spirit, which you have not received, or another gospel, which you have not accepted, you might well bear with him.

¹ O foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been evidently set forth, crucified among you? ² I am disposed only to learn this from you, did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? ³ Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by the flesh? ⁴ Have you suffered so many things in vain? If it is yet in vain? ⁵ Therefore, He that ministers the Spirit to you, and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

⁹ But now, after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly principles, to which you desire again to be in bondage? ¹⁰ You observe days, and months, and seasons, and years. ¹¹ I am afraid for you, lest I have labored for you in vain. ¹² Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as you are: You have not injured me at all. ¹³ You know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel to you at first. ¹⁴ And my trial which was in my flesh you did not despise, nor reject; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Where then is the blessedness you spoke of? For I bear you record, that if it had been possible, you would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

⁴ Christ has become of no effect to you, whoever of you that are justified by the law; you are fallen from grace.

⁷ You ran well; who hindered you that you should not obey the truth? ⁸ This persuasion does not come from Him that calls you.

¹⁴ Therefore He called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

³ As I entreated you to still abide in Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that you might exhort some men that they teach no other doctrine,

¹⁴ And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.

⁹ Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

¹ You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

¹⁵ But as He which has called you is holy, so likewise you be holy in all manner of conversation;

³ even as His divine power has given us accordingly all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue:

²¹ The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
