⁹ Is not the whole land before you? Separate yourself, I implore you, from me: If you will take the left hand side, then I will go to the right; or if you depart to the right hand side, then I will go to the left."

¹⁵ And Abimelech said, "Behold, my land is before you: Dwell where it pleases you."

¹⁰ And you shall dwell with us: And the land shall be before you; dwell and trade in it, and get possessions in it."

⁷ I am for peace; but when I speak, they are for war.

¹⁸ If it is possible, as much as rests with you, live peaceably with all men.

⁷ Now therefore, there is utterly a fault among you, because you go to the court of law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do you not rather allow yourselves to be defrauded?

¹⁴ Follow peace with all people, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

¹³ Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. ¹⁴ But if you have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, do not boast, and do not lie against the truth. ¹⁵ This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. ¹⁶ For where envying and strife are, there is confusion and every evil work. ¹⁷ But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. ¹⁸ And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those that make peace.

⁸ Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion toward one another, love as brethren, be tender-hearted, be courteous: ⁹ Not rendering evil for evil, or returning reproach for reproach: But on the contrary blessing; knowing that you are called to this, that you should inherit a blessing. ¹⁰ Therefore, "He that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: ¹¹ Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and pursue it. ¹² For the eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers: But the face of the LORD is against those that do evil."
