⁴⁵ And before I had finished speaking in my heart, behold, Rebekah came forth with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down to the well, and drew water: And I said to her, 'Let me drink, I implore you.'

¹⁵ And it came to pass, before he had finished speaking, that behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder. ¹⁶ And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: And she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up. ¹⁷ And the servant ran to meet her, and said, "Let me, I implore you, drink a little water of your pitcher." ¹⁸ And she said, "Drink, my lord": And she hastened, and let down her pitcher into her hand, and gave him drink. ¹⁹ And when she had finished giving him drink, she said, "I will draw water for your camels also, until they have finished drinking." ²⁰ And she hastened, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again to the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels.

¹³ Now Hannah spoke in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: Therefore Eli thought she was drunk. ¹⁴ And Eli said to her, "How long will you be drunken? Put away your wine from you." ¹⁵ And Hannah answered and said, "No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drank neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD.

²⁷ For you, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, have revealed to your servant, saying, "I will build you a house: Therefore has your servant found in his heart to pray this prayer to you.

⁴ Then the king said to me, For what do you make request? So I prayed to the God of heaven.

⁹ Then you shall call, and the LORD shall answer; you shall cry, and He shall say, 'Here I am.' If you take away the yoke from the midst of you, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

²⁴ And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

¹⁹ O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; Defer not, for Your own sake, O my God: For Your city and Your people are called by Your name."

²³ At the beginning of your supplications the commandment came forth, and I have come to show you; for you are greatly beloved: Therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

⁷ Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you:

²⁴ And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, "Lord, You are God, which has made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that is in them: ²⁵ Who by the mouth of Your servant David has said, 'Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? ²⁶ The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the LORD, and against His Christ.' ²⁷ "For truly against Your holy Child Jesus, whom You have anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, ²⁸ to do whatever Your hand and Your counsel determined beforehand to be done. ²⁹ And now Lord, behold their threats: And grant to Your servants, that with all boldness they may speak Your word, ³⁰ by stretching forth Your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of Your holy Child Jesus." ³¹ And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the Word of God with boldness. ³² Moreover the multitude of those that believed were of one heart and of one soul: Neither did any of them say that the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things in common. ³³ And with great power the apostles gave witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: And great grace was upon them all.

And he said, "Go report these things to James, and to the brethren." And he departed, and went into another place.

²⁶ Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought: But the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
