¹⁹ I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I did not say to the seed of Jacob, 'You seek me in vain': I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.

¹⁹ God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: Has he said, "and shall he not do it? Or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good? ²⁰ Behold, I have received commandment to bless: And he has blessed; and I cannot reverse it.

²⁹ The secret things belong to the LORD our God: But those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

¹¹ For this commandment which I command you this day, it is not hidden from you, neither is it far off. ¹² It is not in heaven, that you should say, 'Who shall go up to heaven for us, and bring it to us, that we may hear it, and do it?' ¹³ Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say, 'Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it to us, that we may hear it, and do it?' ¹⁴ But the word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, that you may do it.

⁴ He is the Rock, his work is perfect: For all his ways are judgment: A God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

⁸ Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the LORD, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the LORD your God: That you may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance for your children after you forever.

² And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him, "Hear you me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while you be with him; and if you seek him, he will be found of you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.

²² For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: Because we had spoken to the king, saying, "The hand of our God is on all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all those that forsake him.

¹⁰ And those that know Your name will put their trust in You: For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You.

⁶ The words of the LORD are pure words: As silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

⁷ The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. ⁸ The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. ⁹ The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever: The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. ¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

⁶ This is the generation of those that seek Him, that seek Your face; O Jacob. Selah.

¹³ But as for me, my prayer is to You, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of Your mercy hear me, in the truth of Your salvation.

³² The humble shall see this, and be glad: And your heart shall live that seek God.

⁷ The works of His hands are verity and judgment; all His commandments are sure. ⁸ They stand fast forever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

¹³⁷ TZADDI: You are righteous, O LORD, and Your judgments are upright. ¹³⁸ Your testimonies that You have commanded are righteous and very faithful.

²¹ She cries in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: In the city she utters her words, saying,

¹ Does not wisdom cry out? And understanding put forth her voice? ² She stands in the top of high places, by the trailside in the places of the paths. ³ She cries out at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the in coming at the doors. ⁴ "To you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

⁶ Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

⁸ The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: But the prayer of the upright is His delight.

⁵ Every word of God is pure: He is a shield to those that put their trust in Him.

¹⁵ And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: Yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear: Your hands are full of blood.

¹⁹ And when they shall say to you, "Seek those that have familiar spirits, and to wizards who peep, and who mutter": Should not a people seek their God? For the living instead of the dead?

⁹ Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: Who among them can declare this, and show us former things? Let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: Or let them hear, and say, 'It is truth.' ¹⁰ You are My witnesses", says the LORD, and My servant whom I have chosen: That you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: Before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me.

²³ I have sworn by Myself, the word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear an oath.

¹⁶ Come near to me, hear this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there I am: And now the Lord GOD, and His Spirit, has sent me.

⁶ All of you seek the LORD while He may be found, call on Him while He is near: ⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: And let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

¹ "Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. ² Yet they seek Me daily, and delight to know My ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and did not forsake the ordinance of their God: They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching God. ³ They say, 'Why have we fasted, and You do not see? Why have we afflicted our soul, and You do not take notice?' Behold, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, and compel all your labors.

¹ Who is this who comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? This one who is glorious in His apparel, traveling in the greatness of His strength? "I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save."

¹³ And you shall seek Me, and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. ¹⁴ And I will be found by you', says the LORD: 'and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you', says the LORD; 'and I will bring you back again into the place from where I caused you to be carried away captive.' "

⁴ For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel, "Seek Me, and you shall live:

¹³ "Your words have been stout against Me", says the LORD. "Yet you say, 'What have we spoken so boldly against You?' ¹⁴ You all have said, 'It is vain to serve God: And what profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?

⁸ 'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me. ⁹ But in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.' "

²⁶ But look, He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers know that this is indeed the true Christ?

²⁸ Then Jesus cried out in the temple as He taught, saying, "You both know Me, and you know where I am from: And I have not come of Myself, but He that sent Me is true, whom you do not know.

³⁷ On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If any man thirsts, let him come to Me, and drink. ³⁸ He who believes in Me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." ³⁹ (But this He spoke about the Spirit, which those who believe in Him should receive: For the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

²⁰ Jesus answered him, "I spoke openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, where the Jews always assemble; and in secret I have said nothing.

⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. ⁵ And there were Jews dwelling in Jerusalem, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. ⁶ Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because every man heard them speak in his own language. ⁷ And they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, "Behold, are not all these who speak Galileans? ⁸ And how come we hear every man in our own tongue, in which we were born?

³ You ask, and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may consume it upon your lusts.
