⁸ Thus says the LORD, "In an acceptable time I have heard You, and in a day of salvation I have helped You: And I will preserve You, and give You for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;

⁸ Ask of Me, and I shall give You the heathen for Your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Your possession.

¹³ But as for me, my prayer is to You, O LORD, in an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of Your mercy hear me, in the truth of Your salvation.

³ The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

³ You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: Because he trusts in You.

¹ Behold My servant, whom I uphold; My elect, in whom My soul delights; I have put My spirit on Him: He shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

⁶ I the LORD have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand, and will keep You, and give You as a covenant to the people, for a light to the Gentiles;

²⁶ that confirms the word of His servant, and performs the counsel of His messengers; that said to Jerusalem, "You shall be inhabited"; and to the cities of Judah, "You shall be built", and I will raise up the decayed places of it:

¹⁹ For your waste and your desolate places, and the land of your destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and those who swallowed you up shall be far away.

⁷ For the Lord GOD will help Me; therefore I shall not be confounded: Therefore I have set My face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. ⁸ He is near who justifies Me; who will contend with Me? Let us stand together: Who is My adversary? Let him come near to Me. ⁹ Behold, the Lord GOD will help Me; who is he that shall condemn Me? See, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

³ For the LORD shall comfort Zion: He will comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

¹⁶ And I have put My words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of My hand, that I may plant heaven, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say to Zion, You are My people.

³ for you shall break forth on the right hand and on the left; and your seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

¹² And those who shall be of you shall build the old waste places: You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

⁴ And they shall build the old ruins, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

²⁸ for this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

⁴¹ Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. ⁴² And I know that You always hear Me: But because of the people which stand by I said this, that they may believe that You have sent Me."

⁶ to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He has made us accepted in the Beloved.

¹² because at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: ¹³ But now in Christ Jesus you who sometimes were far off are brought near by the blood of Christ. ¹⁴ For He is our peace, who has made both [Jew and Gentile] one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation between us; ¹⁵ having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; so as to make in Himself from two one new man, thus making peace; ¹⁶ and that He might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, having thereby slain the enmity: ¹⁷ And came and preached peace to you who were afar off, and to those that were near. ¹⁸ For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. ¹⁹ Now therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

⁷ Who in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard because He feared;

⁶ But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by which He also is the Mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

²⁴ and to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things than that of Abel.
