³ My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: And my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

²⁸ Now therefore be content, look on me; for it is evident to you if I lie.

² should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?

⁴ my lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

³ I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker. ⁴ For truly my words shall not be false: He that is perfect in knowledge is with you.

² who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?

³⁰ The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment. ³¹ The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

⁷ For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips. ⁸ All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

² The tongue of the wise uses knowledge aright: But the mouth of fools pours out foolishness.

⁷ The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: But the heart of the foolish does not do so.

¹⁵ There is gold, and a multitude of rubies: But the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.

³ For our exhortation was not out of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: ⁴ But as we were allowed by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which examines our hearts.
