²³ For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

¹³ And after all that is come on us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that you our God have punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and have given us such deliverance as this;

³² For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment. ³³ Neither is there any judge between us, that might lay his hand upon us both.

⁶ and that he would show you the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is! Know therefore that God exacts of you less than your iniquity deserves.

¹¹ For he knows vain men: He sees wickedness also; will he not then consider it?

²¹ O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleads for his neighbor!

⁷ There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered forever from my judge.

¹⁰ Therefore listen to me you men of understanding: Far be it from God, that He should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity. ¹¹ For the work of a man shall he render to him, and cause every man to find according to his ways. ¹² Yes, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

¹³⁷ TZADDI: You are righteous, O LORD, and Your judgments are upright.

³ A bruised reed He shall not break, and the smoking flax He shall not quench: He shall bring forth judgment to truth.

⁵ Thus says the LORD, "What iniquity have your fathers found in Me, that they have gone far from Me, and have walked after vanity, and have become vain?

⁷ O LORD, righteousness belongs to You, but to us confusion of faces, as at this time; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries to which You have driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against You. ⁸ O Lord, to us belongs confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against You. ⁹ To the LORD our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against Him;

²⁰ No rather, O man, who are you that replies against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, "Why have you made me like this?"
