⁹ Which does great things and unsearchable; marvelous things without number:

¹⁰ Which does great things past finding out; yes, and wonders without number.

⁷ Can you by searching find out God? Can you find out the Almighty to perfection? ⁸ It is as high as heaven; what can you do? Deeper than hell; what can you know? ⁹ The measure of it is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

⁵ Dead things are formed from under the waters, and its inhabitants. ⁶ Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering. ⁷ He stretches out the north over the empty place, and hangs the earth on nothing. ⁸ He binds up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them. ⁹ He holds back the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it. ¹⁰ He has compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end. ¹¹ The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. ¹² He divides the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smites through the proud. ¹³ By his spirit he has garnished heaven; his hand has formed the crooked serpent. ¹⁴ See, these are parts of his ways: But how little a portion is heard of him? But the thunder of his power who can understand?

⁵ God thunders marvelously with his voice; great things does he, which we cannot comprehend.

³ Who is he that hides counsel without knowledge? Therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

⁵ Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts which are toward us: They cannot be recounted in order to You: If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

¹⁸ Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, Who only does wondrous things.

¹⁰ For You are great, and do wondrous things: You are God alone.

¹⁸ If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: When I awake, I am still with You.

²⁸ Have you not known? Have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint, nor is weary? There is no searching of His understanding.

³³ O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!
