³¹ And many of the people believed on Him, and said, "When Christ comes, will He do more miracles than these which this Man has done?"

³ and said to Him, "Are You He that should come? Or should we look for another?" ⁴ Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and show John again those things which you hear and see: ⁵ The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. ⁶ And blessed is he who shall not be offended in Me."

²³ And all the people were amazed, and said, "Is this not the Son of David?"

¹³ Those upon the rock are they which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

¹¹ This beginning of miracles Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth His glory; and His disciples believed on Him.

²³ Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast day, many believed in His name when they saw the miracles which He did. ²⁴ But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men,

³⁹ And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on Him because of the words of the woman, who testified, "He told me everything that I ever did."

² Then a large multitude followed Him, because they saw His miracles which He did on those who were diseased.

¹⁴ Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, "This is truly that Prophet that should come into the world." ¹⁵ When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take Him by force, to make Him a king, He departed again into a mountain by Himself alone.

³⁰ As He spoke these words, many believed on Him. ³¹ Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed on Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are My disciples indeed; ³² and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

¹⁶ Therefore some of the Pharisees said, "This Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath day." Others said, "How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles?" And there was a division among them.

⁴¹ Then many resorted to Him, and said, "John did no miracle: But all things that John spoke concerning this Man were true." ⁴² And many believed on Him there.

⁴⁵ Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on Him.

¹¹ because on account of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

⁴² Nevertheless, even among the chief rulers many believed on Him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

¹³ Then Simon himself also believed: And when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.

²⁶ For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
