Jude 1:5 Cross References - TKJU

5 Therefore I will put you in remembrance, though you once knew this, how the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those that did not believe.

Numbers 14:22-37

22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not listened to my voice; 23 surely they shall not see the land which I swore to their fathers, neither shall any of those that provoked me see it: 24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and has followed me fully, him will I bring into the land into where he went; and his seed shall possess it. 25 (Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelled in the valley). Tomorrow turn yourself, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea. 26 And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, 27 how long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me. 28 Say to them, As truly as I live", says the LORD, as you have spoken in my ears, so will I do to you: 29 Your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me. 30 Doubtless you shall not come into the land, concerning which I swore to make you dwell in it, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. 31 But your little ones, which you said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which you have despised. 32 But as for you, your carcasses, they shall fall in this wilderness. 33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcasses be wasted in the wilderness. 34 After the number of the days in which you searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall you bear your iniquities, even forty years, and you shall know my breach of promise. 35 I the LORD have said, "I will surely do it to all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: In this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die. 36 And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land, 37 even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.

Numbers 26:64-65

64 But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai. 65 For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

1 Corinthians 10:1-12

1 Moreover, brethren, I would not have that you should be ignorant, how all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea; 2 and all were baptized to Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 and all ate the same spiritual food; 4 and all drank the same spiritual drink: For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: And that Rock was Christ. 5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: For they were overthrown in the wilderness. 6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. 7 Neither be idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, "The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play." 8 Nor let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell. 9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents. 10 Nor murmur, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed by the destroyer. 11 Now all these things happened to them as examples: And they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world has come. 12 Therefore let him that thinks he stands take heed, lest he fall.

2 Peter 3:1
