³ it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the beginning, to write to you in order, most excellent Theophilus,

⁵ Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts which are toward us: They cannot be recounted in order to You: If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

²¹ You have done these things, and I kept silence; you thought that I was altogether such a one as yourself: But I will reprove you, and set them in order before your eyes.

⁹ And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.

¹ Inasmuch as many have gone about to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,

⁴ But Peter narrated the matter from the beginning, and expounded upon it to them in chronological order, saying,

²⁵ It seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

²⁸ For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;

³ we accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
