²⁷ And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded to them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself.

¹⁵ And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."

³ And I will bless those that bless you, and curse him that curses you: And in you all families of the earth shall be blessed."

⁶ And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. ⁷ Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, "We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against you; pray to the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. ⁸ And the LORD said to Moses, "Make you a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole: And it shall come to pass, that everyone that is bitten, when he looks on it, shall live. ⁹ And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it on a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

¹⁵ The LORD your God will raise up to you a Prophet from the midst of you, of your brothers, similar to me; to him you shall listen;

¹² And when your days be fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, which shall proceed out of your bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. ¹³ He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. ¹⁴ I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: ¹⁵ But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before you. ¹⁶ And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you: Your throne shall be established forever.

⁹ Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: My flesh also shall rest in hope. ¹⁰ For You will not leave my soul in hell; neither will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

¹¹ The LORD has sworn in truth to David; He will not turn from it; "From the fruit of your body I will set kings upon the throne.

¹⁴ Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

⁶ For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given: And the government shall be upon His shoulder: And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. ⁷ Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, on the throne of David, and on His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from now on even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

¹⁰ Behold, the Lord GOD will come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him: Behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him. ¹¹ He shall feed His flock like a shepherd: He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

⁶ I gave My back to the smiters, and My cheeks to those who plucked off the hair: I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.

¹³ Behold, My servant shall deal prudently, He shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high. ¹⁴ As many were astonished at you; His visage was so marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men:

¹ Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? ² For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: He has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. ³ He is despised and rejected by men; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: And we hid our faces from Him as it were; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. ⁴ Surely He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: Yet we had esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. ⁵ But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. ⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. ⁷ He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He did not open his mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so He does not open his mouth. ⁸ He was taken from prison and from judgment: And who shall declare His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living: For the transgression of My people was He stricken. ⁹ And He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death; because He had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth. ¹⁰ Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief: When you shall make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand. ¹¹ He shall see of the travail of His soul, and shall be satisfied: By His knowledge my righteous servant shall justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities. ¹² Therefore I will divide to Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He has poured out His soul to death: And He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

⁵ "Behold, the days come", said the LORD, "that I will raise to David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. ⁶ In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: And this is His name by which he shall be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

¹⁴ 'Behold, the days come', said the LORD, 'that I will perform that good thing which I have promised to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. ¹⁵ In those days, and at that time, I will cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up to David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

²³ And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even My servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

²⁵ And they shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers have dwelled; and they shall dwell in it, even they and their children, and their children's children forever: And My servant David shall be their prince forever.

¹³ I saw in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him.

²⁴ Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy. ²⁵ Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks: The street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. ²⁶ And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself: And the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end of it shall be with a flood, and until the end of the war desolations are determined.

² "But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you He shall come forth to Me that is to be Ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting." ³ Therefore He will give them up, until the time that she which travails has brought forth: Then the remnant of His brethren shall return to the children of Israel. ⁴ And He shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD His God; and they shall abide: For now He shall be great to the ends of the earth.

²⁰ You will perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

⁹ Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: Behold, your King comes to you: He is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon a donkey, and upon a colt, the foal of a donkey.

⁷ "Awake, O sword, against My shepherd, and against the man that is My fellow", says the LORD of hosts: "Smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: And I will turn My hand upon the little ones.

¹ "Behold, I will send My messenger, and he shall prepare the way before Me: And the Lord, Whom all of you seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, Whom you all delight in: Behold, He shall come", says the LORD of hosts. ² "But who may abide the day of His coming? And who shall stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: ³ And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: And He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness.

² But to you that fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you all shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

²⁵ Then He said to them, "O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

⁴⁴ And He said to them, "These are the words which I spoke to you, while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the Psalms, concerning Me."

⁴⁵ Philip found Nathanael, and said to him, "We have found Him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."

³⁹ Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: And these are they which testify of Me.

⁴⁵ Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: There is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom you trust. ⁴⁶ For had you believed Moses, you would have believed Me: For he wrote of Me. ⁴⁷ But if you do not believe his writings, how shall you believe My words?"

²² For Moses truly said to the fathers, 'The LORD your God shall raise up to you a Prophet similar to me from your brethren; you shall hear Him in all things, whatever He shall say to you.

²⁴ Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that followed after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

³⁷ "This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, 'The LORD your God shall raise up to you a Prophet from your brethren, similar to me: Him you shall hear.'

⁴³ To Him all the prophets give witness, that through His name whoever believes in Him shall receive remission of sins."

²⁷ For those that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the prophets which are read every Sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning Him. ²⁸ And though they found no cause for death in Him, yet they desired of Pilate that He should be slain. ²⁹ And when they had fulfilled all that was written about Him, they took Him down from the tree, and laid Him in a sepulchre. ³⁰ But God raised Him from the dead:

¹⁰ And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said to me, "See that you do not do it: I am your fellow-servant, and of your brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: Worship God: For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
