⁴ And it came to pass, as they were greatly perplexed concerning that, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

² and he lifted up his eyes and looked, and lo, three men stood by him: And when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

² And behold, there was a large earthquake; for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. ³ His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: ⁴ And the keepers shook in fear of him, and became as dead men. ⁵ And the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not fear: For I know that you seek Jesus, which was crucified. ⁶ He is not here: For He is risen, as He said.
